In the middle of nowhere
1200 hours
POV Erica Hale
I saw one of the engines blow up and I knew we had to jump. We glided down safely but I had no clue where we were. We were stranded without my mom or grandpa because they had to fly the jet to a safe area so it doesn't hurt anyone. Even though I didn't show it I was scared.
"Guys we are somewhere in California so we should walk to the nearest building," I said coldly we walked for an hour or two into we found a small town nearby. We all asked around for help to get to LA. A strange man gave me a map to get to LA but something was wrong I knew I have seen him somewhere but I just shook it off.
-TIME SKIP-
Los Angles
1500 hours
POV Erica Hale
"ugh we have been walking for hours are we almost there?" Zoe said annoyed. I gave her a cold glare and said "Yes we have a couple more miles to go." I pulled out her phone and called My mother and Grandpa, "Hello sweetie did you make it to LA" my mom chirped. "Please don't call me sweetie, and yes we made it to LA can you meet us at the nearest hotel."
"Sure Erica, I will text you when I make it to the hotel."
[Texting with Erica and Catherine]
Catherine: Hi sweetie I'm at the hotel
Erica: Okay mom be there in 5 minutes
Catherine: how is everything going with ben ;)
Erica: MOMMMMM!
Catherine: I'm just curious :D
Erica: Fine, I want to tell him that I like him but I'm just too nervous.
Catherine: Sweetie don't worry about it he likes you a lot and just tell himmm!
Erica: okayy mom i gotta gooo.

Hotel in LA
1600 hours
POV: Ben
We finally made it to the hotel I was so tired I just wanted to go to sleep. I didn't get much sleep during the flight because I was thinking about the mission and Erica and then the plane kinda blew up.
"Hello, Benjamin, Michael, Zoe, and Erica!! We have 6 rooms, one for each of us." Catherine said sweetly. "We will get the dinner and then get some rest because we are waking up at 0500 hours!" Cyrus barked. Me, Zoe, and Mike all had grilled cheese sandwiches, while Erica, Cyrus, and Catherine had salads.
After we all ate we went to our rooms. I fell asleep the moment I hit the pillow. I woke up to footsteps, I grabbed my gun and turned the safety off. Someone put a hand on my mouth and snatched my gun. I smelled the intoxicating smell of lilacs and gunpowder. "Erica doesn't scare me like that!"
"It's fun to do it" Erica giggled. Strange I've never seen Erica giggle. "what have you done with the real Erica I've never heard her giggle.." I said nervously. " I came here to tell you something," Erica said calmly.
"I- I like you a lot," Erica said nervously. I have never been so shocked in my entire life. Inside I was so happy that Erica Hale likes me!!! "really? I- Im so shocked, I mean you already know this but I like you a lot too!"
Erica came up and hugged me. "I owed you the hug when I promised you in your first year"
