I called Naygee's name. But he didn't answer. I called Melvin's name, but he didn't answer.

That's weird. Where were they? Hmm, they were probably fucking in the living room.

Two hot and bothered black men on the DownLo were to be desired. Black love was a beautiful thing, in my opinion.

I stood up and walked around the house. I looked in the kitchen. Nothing.

I looked in the bathroom, the back yard and the garage. Nothing. Melvin's stuff was gone.

Naygee's stuff, too. I picked up the house phone and called Naygee.
I heard the busy signal. "MSN Zero One.

The mobile customer you are trying to reach does not answer."

I must have the wrong number. I called it again. The same thing.

Damn it! His phone was off.

I called Melvin's number. I got the same thing. I called his home in New York.

The prompt informed me that the number had been changed to an unlisted number.

I lowered myself on the couch, trying to understand this.

Two men who didn't know each other came to my house and fucked me to sleep and when I woke up there was no place like home because Todo was
nowhere to be seen and Dorothy was crying because the house fell on the Wicked Witch of the East and I
was a lonely bitch.

"What the fuck is going on?" I lit a cigarette, blowing smoke in the air. I looked at the China Cabinet.

The Golden Mask was back inside, sitting gloriously in the center.

Sparkling.
