And so the training begins

It had been a few days since you had last seen Kuzan. You had cried yourself to sleep for days. You had lost motivation to do everything,you had fallen to your lowest point and it felt like there was no coming back. You missed him. You missed him every moment. There was nothing you wanted more than hold him again,play with his hair while he is asleep, shower him with soft kisses all over his face ,joke with him , flirt with him,tease him,hug him.

You hated yourself for being weak.What was even the point of training for years if you couldn't even assure the man you loved that you could be safe with him.Even if you were in the enemy's territory ,you would be able to protect yourself and him. Your eyes were starting to burn ,tears were running down you face and there was nothing you could do to stop them.

Fuck the five elders. Why couldn't they  just agree with old man Sengoku and allow Kuzan to be the next fleet admiral without causing a damn fuss. He might be made of ice but his heart is the warmest. He is a people's person, he would have made the navy a better organisation. Made the world a better place...Akainu on the other hand was the opposite. He tried to kill one of his own people during the war for fucks sake...

You chocked on a sob as your mind started imagining just how different your lives would have been if Kuzan was still a navy officer. You wished you had gotten with him sooner. You had all the time in the world to have done so for years but you were afraid of getting your heart broken. He gave you the best weeks of your life and now it felt like nothing but a dream...a fantasy. Sometimes you wondered if it was because the whole thing had been to good to be true.

A sudden knock on your door startled you. You quickly moved your hands to your face to get rid of the tears that were starting to dry  there. You managed to get a hold of yourself and walked slowly in the direction of the door. You exhaled loudly as you wrapped your fingers around the doorknob and twisted the latter. The view of Boa Hancock surprised you.

"Sister-" she said nervously."Please join us for dinner, you've locked yourself up for days. Everyone's worried."

"Thanks for the concern Hancock but I'm not hungry." You didn't feel like eating. The idea of doing so was making you feel nauseous.

"You haven't eaten anything all day. It's not healthy. "

"I'm okay. Honestly."

"I'm afraid that I should insist.Rayleigh got word that you haven't been eating lately and claims that he won't train you unless you do so."

"Damned Dark King." You sighed annoyingly." Lead the way Hancock."

The next morning you found yourself in Rusukaina,the island where Luffy and Ace had been training since the war ended. It hadn't changed since the last time you were here...hell the thought was making you feel nostalgic...Kuzan had been here with you the last time. After having walked for a few minutes, having walked by a few animals without attacking them,you finally saw your brothers and their mentor.

Luffy had put on a blind fold and Ace was hitting him with a wooden stick while he tried to dodge. Out of at least ten hits that you counted Luffy managed to dodge only one. While your brothers were doing that ,the Dark King had cozied himself around a bonefire , enjoying his meal and a coup of sake. You approached them.

"Yo." You greeted them as you raised all the fingers on your palm except your thumb.

"Y/N." Ace stopped hitting Luffy and a smile formed on his face when he noticed you.

"Huh?" Luffy slipped his finger beneath his blindfold and moved the latter upper so he could see you. "Big sis!"He removed the blindfold fully , streched his arms in your direction and wrapped them around your waist. In a matter of seconds he crushed into you and hugged you tightly.
