"Don't make me repeat myself."

"I'm fucking tired." You blurted out as you rested on your elbows,head thrown back , eyes closed. You were panting and were finding it quite difficult to breathe. Your heart was beating fast ,it felt like it would explode.

"We aren't finished yet." Ace threw you a bottle of water.Since you had trained your haki for the past few months,you saw the bottle coming.Your observation haki had gotten better. You caught it before it hit you. You sat straight and drinked the water in big gulps.

"That old man intends to kill us." You wiped the water that had dropped on your chin with the back of your hand.

"That has never been my intention Y/N." You heard the Dark King's voice behind you. You froze and muttered fuck under you breath. Ace started laughing. Last time you had said something that seemed 'offensive' to Rayleigh he had made you train the whole day without eating any food.Asshole.You moved your eyes to him. A smirk had formed on his face.

"Tell that to my legs."

You felt the muscles on your legs hurt as you tried to stand up. They were burning too much ,it felt impossible to even move. Rayleigh had been rather harsh with his training today. He had been working on improving your stamina this past week and damn him and his ways. They almost got the three of you killed but they were worth it.

"What's wrong with your legs?" He asked. A hint of laugh on his voice.

"I can't fucking feel them." You grunted as you stood on your feet.

"Should I apologize for making you not feel your legs?" He stared at you under his glasses. Having being surrounded by marine pigs for many years made you catch up on his double meaning almost immediately.Ace hadn't caught on it as he was still laughing.

"Why, that would be very generous Dark King." You gave him a mocking smile and decided to play it safe and act as if you hadn't caught up on the double meaning.

"Ace." He moved his eyes to Ace and the latter stopped laughing." You've trained enough for today. Rest. Tell Luffy to stop as well." Ace nodded at him,bid you goodbye and left. "And I've told you many times-" he moved his eyes in your direction." It's not Dark King or old man. Rayleigh will do."

"I've been told to respect my elders-"You smiled at him and he made a face at that.As if he was displeased with the fact that you called him an old man.He had no reason to be though,he was only a few years younger than your grandpa. He should be grateful you ain't calling him grandpa."old man."

"Rayleigh." He walked closer to you.He had a serious expression on his face."Don't make me repeat myself."

"Or what-" You teased. He was finally standing in front of you ,only a few inches away."Old man?" You taunted again.

Rayleigh took a deep breath and exhaled. He kept eye contact with you as he licked his lower lip."Do you honestly think that it is a wise choice to taunt me?"

"Sort of ,yeah." You nodded.

"Sort of ,yeah." He repeated as he also nodded.  He placed a hand on your shoulder. Your titlted your head so you could see the hand. It was a reaction that happened on pure reflex.He slid his hand up to your neck and wrapped his fingers around it, squeezing it slightly. He,then used his hold on your neck to move your head up and look at him. His eyes had darkened yet his face expression remained calm. Somehow the position was making you feel an emotion you hadn't felt in a few months. You could almost say that you were...turned on by his gesture?"Alright now." He moved his face closer to yours and for a moment you thought that he would kiss you.He didn't."What's my name again?"

You felt that you were loosing control of your own body. He kept tightening and loosing his grip on your neck and that was making you feel dizzy. You were a stubborn person by nature though. You wouldn't give that easily to his tactics." Old man ."

"Wrong answer."He tightened his grip on your neck and now you were finding it difficult to breathe. He moved his face closer but this time to the side of your head ,close to your ear. He used his other hand to brush a piece of hair  behind your ear."Try again."

He whispered and the sound send a chill down your spine. When your face started changing colour ,from your usual complexion to a shade of red he loosened his grip. You tried to grab hold of his wrist and make him remove his hand from your neck but you were unsuccessful. He already saw that coming and wrapped his free hand on your wrist and smiled.A way to mock your futile attempt.

You being stubborn always had a limit. He would probably toy with you for as long as he would like if you tried to keep taunting him. You had become stronger ever since you started training here but he could still overpower you. So now you started thinking rationality. You should do what he says.

"Your name is Rayleigh." He licked his lips as he smiled. He removed his hand from your neck and you coughed. Your throat felt sore. He slapped your right cheek a few times ,not using any power at all .It didn't hurt. It felt like he was petting your cheek. That stupid strand of hair that's always on his face had moved from its usual place since he had leant closer so he used his hand to fix it.The smile never left his face as he spoke his next words.

"See wasn't that hard ,was it?"
