Luffy, Usopp, and Nami were behind the treasure chest waiting for the other pirates to reload. "Sanji! Zoro! They found us! We're under attack!" Luffy yelled. They threw a bomb at them and it blew up everything that could shelter them from their guns. Luffy and the others retreated but they accidentally left Zoro and Sanji behind. The Captain of the other pirates sent them after Luffy. "I'm not leaving without this treasure!" He shouted.
The Captain rose his gun and aimed for Sanji and fired. Sanji knew he was going to die and he stood there excepting it. Zoro immediately jumped in front Sanji. BANG! Zoro fell on floor with a bullet in his chest. Sanji screamed and fell to the ground. The Captain grabbed the treasure and ran off. "ZORO!!! No PlEASE DON't DIE!!!" Sanji uncontrollably sobbed while screaming. "Hey Sanji, I know what you said about the devil fruit you ate, was all a joke but look. I fell for you look. I.. I'm sorry... I don't think your Moss Head is gonna make it this time." Zoro whispered coughing blood. "You IDIOT why did you JUMP!!!" Sanji said crying on Zoro. "I love you, that's why, and a life without you is a life I would end anyways." Zoro quietly said.
Zoro propped himself up and kissed Sanji. Sanji was closing his eyes and telling himself he was ok and he would live. He pulled away from the kiss but Zoro didn't stop him. He opened his eyes and Zoro went limp. Zoro's eyes stayed open and he wasn't breathing. Sanji starred at Zoro's body. He hugged him and started sobbing again. "IT'S My FAuLT!!! YoU OnlY Went WITH me because I was sCARED OF LOSING YOU! Look what happened to you!" Sanji screamed. The tunnels started to cave in. Sanji had to leave Zoro and run out of tunnels. He looked behind him and watched Zoro be buried in the mountain forever.
He felt weak and crawled his way back to the ship. The other pirates were gone with the treasure and Zoro was dead. Luffy spotted Sanji on the beach and brought him back. "Sanji I thought you guys were gone! Wait... Sa... Sanji... Where is Zoro?" Luffy said with tears filling his eyes. Sanji hung on to Luffy's shorts and started to cry again. He couldn't talk or breath he could only focus on Zoro. Luffy understood that Zoro was gone. "He was my first recruit. My first crew mate. How could you let this happen! He was going to be the world's best swords men!" Luffy yelled. He got so mad he punched Sanji and knocked him out. All the screaming, alarmed everyone and they ran outside to see what happened. They had to hold Luffy back from killing Sanji.
