An Old Friend

The group of six apparated (did I spell that right?) to a secluded spot down the street from Raven's house. Before the others had time to take in their surroundings Harry was already walking down the street eager to see his friend again. She had sent him an owl the other morning. She had moved out of her parents house and had enough money in Gringotts from her inheritance to buy a beautiful home that now became 'The Hades Manor' So she had plenty of room to do whatever she pleaded and often had her 2 best friends practically living with her. Though they would be gone for the two months they were there.

"Potter do you even know where your going?" A very annoyed Snape asked as the rest of the group caught up to the boy. He obviously did NOT want to be here. Draco, Blaise, and Pansy quickly caught up to walk best to him. They had formed a comfortable friendship with each other within the two weeks they had to prepare for this project.

"Of course. Raven is my best friend. I know exactly where we're going."

Soon the group reached The manor at the top of the street somewhat hidden from the other houses by a small hill.

Harry wasted no time as he walked right up to the door simply opening the front door and walking in though he soon realized the other five were still standing on the front porch looking at him through the open door.
"Well? What are you waiting for?" Harry asked slightly confused.

"Don't you have any manners potter? At least knock!" Lucious yelled from the doorway. Harry rolled his eyes and came back to the door knocking on it twice.
"NOW will you come inside? I bet she's probably already making dinner. And you do not want to be late for a meal. She's probably scarier than you even on your worst day professor."
Before the potions professor had any time to scold him or even sneer at him a familiar female voice yelled from somewhere in the manor.
"Harry James Potter! How many times do I have to tell you to respect your professors! You should be thankful that the man has even an ounce of sanity left after teaching you for what? Eight years? Honestly I wouldn't be able to last even a year with you in my class. Especially in a subject your so hopeless at like potions."
Harry turned quickly to see his childhood friend quickly descending the stairs in a black t shirt that was fitted on her in all the right places with a large silver skull in the middle, black skinny jeans with random chains hanging from the belt loops and red beat up converse with colorful writing from when she was bored in class. Her black hair was mostly straight but curled at the ends. Sections of her hair was dyed green.

Harry grinned at his friend as she walked over to the group.
"I'm terribly sorry, please excuse him. No matter how hard I try to teach him he has no manners." She rolled her eyes at him. "Please come in. I hope you are hungry. Dinner will be ready soon."

The group finally walked inside and followed their hostess to the dining hall.

~HARRY'S P.O.V~
I left the dining hall with Raven following her to the kitchen to help with the finishing touches on dinner. Once we were in the kitchen I instantly pulled her into a bone crushing hug similar to Mrs.Weasley's. We stood there for a minute just hugging.
"He's really cute you know."
She looked up at me with a smirk that could easily rival any malfoys. For a second I was confused for a second until realization finally dawned on me. I had told her in my owl that I had developed a "small" okay... Pretty big crush on one Draco Malfoy. I didn't dare say a word instead I just glared at her the best I could. Though I'm pretty Shute my face was red like a tomato.

"Let's just get to dinner." I said slightly flushed and embarrassed.
She pulled away laughing and waved me out of he kitchen.

"Don't waste time in here. Go sit by him!"
~~~~~~~Page Break~~~~~~~
Everyone was sitting at the dining table chatting among themselves. Soon Raven came in with two large trays balancing one in each hand each filled with plates of food. She placed plates of spaghetti, bowls of salad and two baskets of breadsticks on the table.
Everyone at the table openly gaped at the enormous amount of food on the table. Even Lucious let his mask slip to stare at the food.
"I told you guys, she's serious about meals."
I said smirking at her from my seat at the table. Though at the same time earning myself a smack upside the head from her.
"Watch it dork or you'll be sleeping on the couch for two months."
She smiled and took a seat next to me across from Blaise.
"Did you really make all of this food yourself? You really didn't really need to go through so much trouble-" Lucious had started speaking but she quickly cut him off.
"Oh hush. I enjoy being able to cook for people and besides some of you look like you could use all the food." At that she sent a glare at Draco and I.
"Now eat up before your food gets cold. I won't have any guests of mine starving and we have lots to talk about after dinner."
The rest of the meal there was pleasant conversation and laughing. Even SNAPE laughed a little bit!
