She floated towards me like an feather, pearls adorning her collarbones.
Her aura was goddess-like,
though the earth was her throne.
She is the first of her kind,
a mortal with heavenly gifts.
A being flowing with light,
and beauty and talent and wits.
One look and I'm enchanted,
I fall in lustful love.
She is everything Ive wanted,
a present from above.
Familiar warnings pass,
I am deaf to them all.
Prometheus in my ear,
love comes before the fall.
