Hell

And suddenly the jar overflowed with egregious evils,

spreading like light filling every crevice of the world.

Tormenting mortals to an eternity of work,

backs broken from endless picking at the earth.

Illnesses poisoning blood and foolish minds.

And grief striking the fragile hearts of men.

All suffering in vain with no hope.

Pandora had shut the jar before she could escape.

At last the fate of the Gods prevail.

Prometheus torn, Epimetheus fooled

and Zeus' Pride and Dignity restored
