My mind carries me, like an ocean pulling back on the shore.

Pulling my wonder into deep and cavernous waters where mystery lies.

This mystery is like an open wound and my wonder is a fly.

I cant resist but spring towards it, a blessing from Hera.

And the secrecy of Zeus' gift reels me in the most. What dwells inside the jar?

It is just sitting there waiting for me to attack, my curiosity the vicious predator.

I place my dainty fingers on the lid and unscrew.

My thirst for answers is quenched, but now the world is fated to everlasting peril.

At last my mind comes back to me, I never should've opened the jar.

I shut the lid back on in regretful vain.
