To the Moon and Back.

This Excerpt is from Karan and Tejasswi's first Karwa chauth before marriage.

Karan's Pov

Karan suddenly woke up by a knock on the door. He looked at the clock and saw that it was just 3 in the morning. He quickly lifted a sleeping tejasswi off his chest.

He looked at her adoringly. She looked so cute when she was deep in sleep. She had half her lower body out of the blanket. He laughed at her and covered her with the blanket properly.

He walked towards the door still deep in sleep and opened the door.
He came face to face with his mother. "Mumma !! Kya ho gya itni raat ko aap? Sab theek hai na?"

His mother smiled at him.
"Haan beta tu abhi bhi neend mein hi hai! Main tum logo ko sargi ke liye uthane aayi thi...
Teju ne mujhe bola tha ki usko karwa chauth ka vrat rakhna hai..toh mai usko utha dun."

Then it dawned on Karan that it was Karwachauth today. He was in such a deep slumber that he had completely forgotten about it.

"Tu usko utha de...thik hai...Mai tab tk baaki kaam kr leti hun. " She told him and left.

Karan closed the door again and looked back at his sleeping laddoo.She was sleeping so soundly. He was hesitant about waking her up.

Right at that moment. An alarm started blarring loudly. Karan cringed at the sound and started looking for the source of the sound before Teju's sleep got disturbed. By the time he located Tejasswi's Phone which was the source of the noise, she had already woken up.

She looked at him with eyes filled with sleep .

"It's 3 AM already?" She asked groggily.

Karan took her in his arms and gave her a warm hug. He kept on holding her. She also rested her head on his shoulder and planted a kiss there.

"You had set the alarm? We talked about this laddoo... I don't want you to keep a fast for me! I don't want you to starve yourself!! You don't even have a day off today...you have to go for a shoot also baby!! " He tried persuading her again.

"No!! Sunny we already talked about this last night. I told you that I want to keep this fast! I really want to!! It's for your safety and long life. You know that I believe in all this!! I am going to keep a fast.. It is not up for discussion." She pouted at him angrily.

"Okay okay...It's your call" He surrendered to her before they started arguing about this and took her in his arms again.

"Mumma had come to call you for Sargi." He told her while he continued to gently stroke her hair.

"Oh yes....Sargii!!! I am so excited Sunny!! This is my First Karwa chauth!!" She squealed.

"It better be your first karwa chauth Ms. Laddoo!! Aur kis kis ke liye rakhna chahti thi tu!!" He tackled her onto the bed and caged her in his arms.

"You know exactly what I meant my possessive little!!" She held his chin and gave him a quick peck.

Karan started deepening the kiss but Teju pushed him laughing.

"I should quickly take a bath and get ready before it gets late!!" She got up and ran towards the washroom.

"Oyye laddoo...Itni bhi kya jaldi hai!! " He called after her but she closed the door poking her tongue out at him.
