This is something i wrote randomly. I really wanted to experiment and write something filled with agony.

Disclaimer: Everything in this story is a fragment of my imagination and has no inspiration from any real life event.

Karan's pov.

Karan was running after Teju on a beach . It was the same beach that they had visited when they were in Goa last time. They had several fond memories from here which they still cherished very much.

The waves were lapping a bit harshly on the shore. The Ocean seemed a bit angry today. It was not gentle or soothing  like it usually was.

The weather seemed to have taken a turn for the worse. It looked like a storm was brewing.

"Tejuuu...Come on baby...let's go home!! The weather is a bit frightening " Karan shouted while still trying to catch her.

"Oh come onn!!! Catch me first!! " Teju giggled while moving further away from him and a bit deeper into the ocean.

Karan was now getting a little nervous. The waves were getting intense every passing minute.

"Laddooo...Come on ..I am not kidding!! Please let's leave..I think the weather is getting worse!!" Karan stopped running after her and tried convincing her.

Tejasswi however looked least bothered by his request. She still was moving farther away from the shore laughing and giggling.

Karan saw a huge wave approaching them with a speed.

"Teju!!! Look backk!! Come onn!!! There's a huge wave coming for fucks sake!!! Don't joke around and come back here right this instant!" He shouted losing his temper at her neglegance towards her safety and started running towards her.

It was too late until he could actually get to her. The wave crashed on both of them quite vigorously. Karan felt himself totally submerged in the water for some time. He was struggling for air. He had gulped a huge amount of water due to the force with which the wave had crashed on him.

He struggled to reach to the surface of water. He somehow emerged out from under the water and spat out the water he had gulped. He coughed hard to get rid of the remaining water and heaved for air. His chest was hurting and he was feeling dizzy from the lack of oxygen.

The minute he felt a little conscious he looked around for Teju. She was nowhere to be seen. He quickly gathered himself and stood up. His eyes scanned the entire beach and everywhere around him.  He was now starting to panic in his disheveled state.

"Tejuuuuu......Tejuuuuuuuu!!!!!" He shouted.

He didn't receive any answer. He started moving around in the ocean continuously calling out for her. She had to be somewhere out here. He couldn't lose her. He continued looking for her everywhere around him.

"Sunny..Sunnyy.......Sunnnyyyy" He heard a voice from a distance.

His ears perked up. That voice sounded exactly like Teju's. He rapidly moved his head around looking for the source of the voice. But he couldn't see Teju anywhere.

"Tejuuu!!! Can you here me baby??? Where are youuuuu???" He shouted for her while tears streamed down his face.

"Sunnyy...Sunnyyyyy" The voice was getting more distant with every passing minute. He was trying to follow the voice when suddenly he felt himself being shaken violently.

He woke up with a gasp. And his eyes desperately looked for the face he was yearning to see but instead he came face to face with his mother who was standing right in front of him with a frown etched on her face.

"Sunnyyy...Mera baccha.. Are you alright? It looked like you were having a bad dream." His Mother asked concerned.

It was then that he realized that he had fallen asleep in the middle of the day on his living room couch. He looked at his mother and gave her a weak smile.

"Yeah Mumma...I am fine. I was just extremely tired and didn't realize when i dozed off. I am totally fine. Don't worry." He tried to ease her worries.

His mother didn't look convinced but nodded at his explanation. She caressed his face with affection and gave him a sympathetic look.

"You had a nightmare about her again didn't you? This is not going to help her mera baccha....We have to be strong for her!!" Sunita said while embracing his son.

It felt like he was a 5 year old yet again. So fragile and emotional. Clinging to her when he had a bad dream just like he used to in his childhood.

"Mumma!! Please ....I don't want to talk about it. " Karan said with a heavy voice and closed his eyes hugging his mother tighter.

He then broke the embrace. Put up a brave front for his mother and gave her a smile while getting up from the couch.
He quickly washed up and moved into his walk in closet to change his clothes.

While pulling out a hoodie he saw a piece of clothing  fall from his cupboard.
He quickly picked it up and was pushing it back in the cupboard when his eyes fell on the cloth which he was holding.

His eyes welled up with tears. He sat down on the floor of his closet. He was loosing his composure now. It was too much to handle.

He just couldn't comprehend what to do in life without her by his side. He held the hoodie close to his chest and sobbed his heart out.

He still remembered how happy Teju had been when he had gifted her this panda hoodie inside the bigboss house.
She had been obsessed with it and wore it almost to the point when it's white colour started turning from white to grey.

He smiled at the nostalgia that hit him with just a piece of clothing that belonged to her. He brought the hoodie close to his nose and inhaled her scent that was still somewhere lingering to the hoodie.

He closed his eyes reminiscing the time when this scent was the first thing that hit him when he woke up in the morning. She would always be sprawled across the entire bed with arms and legs flung in different directions.

He remembered how often he got annoyed at the lack of space to sleep in his own king sized bed while his little mouse somehow managed to occupy all the space despite her little frame.

He would somehow adjust his body in whatever space that was left and they would after a while find the perfect position to sleep after wresting a while in the bed for space.

Now there was noone to occupy his space. Yet all he had now was sleepless nights. No amount of space was able to return the comfort he felt with her.
How the weight of her legs tossed up on his body felt oddly comfortable when he slept at night after a busy day.

He tried breathing slowly and compose himself.  He got up from the floor and shoved the hoodie inside his closet.

He reminded himself that he was not going to loose himself in this grief. He had to be strong for her and their families. All of them were going to overcome the tragedy that had occurred 6 months ago.
