Chapter 4 A Day Of Guarding (Part 3 of 8)

3rd POV

After being training by Ludwig in bettering his fire magic Y/N has been moving around the room a lot as to make sure he can completely move and eventually run again

"Alright I'm slowly beginning to get my movement back now all I need to do is get better at running" Y/N says

The door to the room Y/N is in soon opens which then reveals Wendy koopa and the queen of boos herself boosette

"Boosette? What are you doing here?" Y/N asks the ghost queen

"I'm here to see how you have been recovering after the betrayal of Mario and Luigi" boosette says to Y/N

"How do you know about that?" Y/N asks

"Well you would of eventually found out but Aunt Bowsette Queen Boosette and Queen Chompette each recorded what happened to you by the hands of the plumbers" Wendy says

"Then...." Y/N starts to say

"Yes the three of us know what they did to you Y/N and safe to say we are furious at how they treated you much like our brothers are" Boosette says

"So wendy what are you going to be training me in?" Y/N asks the koopaling in the room

"Well myself and Larry will be teaching you how to improve your speed to better move and avoid attacks from the enemy's you face" Wendy says to Y/N

"Then will we be staying in the room or going somewhere else for the training as I don't think the size of the room is large enough for me run around in" Y/N says to Wendy

Wendy brings out a portable warp pipe which she then places in the middle of the room

"Follow me" Wendy says as she jumps into the pipe

Y/N with the help from the boo queen Boosette enters the pipe which the three then arrive at an abandoned race track

"How will your training work Wendy?" Boosette asks

"Right so since you just starting to move your legs again after what the brothers did to you I want you to run around this course at least 45 times non stop" Wendy says to Y/N

"I'm guessing there's a catch to the training instead of me running around alot?" Y/N asks Wendy

"There is a catch yes or rather there are two" Wendy Says

"What are they?" Boosette asks

Suddenly another warp pipe appears and out appears a koopa that is holding a tote bag

The koopa drops the bag on the ground which forms several cracks on the ground

"Um what's in that bag Wendy?" Y/N asks Wendy

"In the bag are training equipment that weigh 12,000 pounds which you will wear on your ankles to increase your speed" Wendy says

"Alright but what's the second catch to the training?" Boosette asks Wendy

"The second catch is that while you are running around the track I will be attacking you with everything I have so in a way you will also be training your evasion as well as your speed" Wendy says

"Then Larry will up the difficulty when its his turn to guard and train me?" Y/N asks Wendy

"Exactly" Wendy Responds to Y/N

"While you two are training I will make sure to stay out of the way as to not interfere with the training session" Boosette says as she floats several feet away from the track

Wendy then tells Y/N to put the training gear on his ankles which he nods and does just that

"What next?" Y/N asks wendy
