Chapter 13: Haldi

After looking at the longing of the Kalyana ponu and mappalai.. The adults agreed to start preparations for marriage... Today was Haldi function...

Diya and Anirah were sleeping in Vaishnavi's bed in between Ani and Y/N... The two wanted to break traditions and have nalungu together in Ani's House. So Diya and Anirah had to make sure they didn't do anything stupid before marriage so was put in the room with the biggest bed with the both of them because in this big house they only had few rooms where guests were staying including Ani's room and Vaishnavi's room was like a dump with only the bed, so they put the four youngsters in it...

Diya's POV

"Ei Diya endhri" I heard someone wake me up. Lakshmi Aunty...

"Solunga Aunty..." I groaned.

"Endhri ma vela iruku" She said.

"Tho ithunga moonu thayum elupi vidunga" Diya said pointing to Anirah, Ani and Y/N

"Anirah va elupa than poren... Ponum mappalaium fresh aa theriyanum. Aprom elupalam" Aunty said. I groaned rubbing my eyes and going downstairs and Anirah followed me a few seconds later.

"Good Morning... Inthanga coffee" Siva Anna brightly said giving each of us a cup of coffee.

"Anna epdi na kalangathala 5 manikku ipdi fresh aa irukinga..." I asked.

"Shooting ku enchi paakam ayduchi ma.. Enaku enna asaya.. Enna vita thoonguven.. Tho iva than" He said pointing to Aarthi Akka.

"Ama thangachi oda nalungu ku enthrika mattaru" Aarthi akka said.

"Ayo ketuduche" Anna said fixing his non existant collar. 

"Seri na.. Enna vela seyanum?" Anirah asked.

"Athu enaku theriyathu... Na decoration department... HOD onoda appa than avara poi kelunga" He said. We laughed and went to find Ravi uncle.

"Vanga onglathan theditu irunthen.. Seri ok neenga rendu perum distribution department.. Elarkum poi dress distribute paninga.. Ana Y/N um Ani um elupi vidathinga... Asa iruku nu theriyum but please.."

"Seri pa Annan aa disturb panuven?" Anirah asked sarcastically as we got the dress bags from him.

"Oi yarathu itha record paninga" Ravi uncle said wantedly and we ran away upstairs.

"Seri ithu... Dhanush vanthirkara?" I asked. 

"Obviously dude. Antha room, poi kuduthutu va, na poi.... ennoda Akka kita kuduthutu varen" Anirah said. 

After giving the dress to Dhanush Anna, and Vaishu Akka, and everyone else, we went down. It was 6:30 already. 

"Seri. Asai iruku la? Ippo poi rendu perayum elupunga" Lakshmi Aunty said.

We both grinned, looking at each other, "Nejama va??" 

"Pina? Time ayduchi ready aga vendam aa rendu perum?" She asked, handing us two bags for Ani and Y/N. We both ran upstairs to Vaishu akka's old room. 

"Oi Enthringa rendu perum" I said shaking Y/N after keeping down the bag. Anirah literally shouted in her brother's ears and he shot his eyes open in shock. 

"Ei loosu ipdi ya elupi viduva!" He almost yelled. 

"Ei Y/N endhri dii" I said. Ani was sitting on the bed and turned to see Y/N. He smiled. 

"Na elupi vidren, ponga rendu perum" He said. 

Anirah and I looked at each other with a sarcastic look and turned to him with the same look.
