|Third Person POV|

Sonic was cleaning the blood off of the floor with a special chemical that helps remove blood stains, to the point that police wouldn't be find out.

Shadow was still sitting on the floor of the basement, he really hadn't be unchained yet, not that he wanted too, he was mostly looking forward to Sonic just killing him, cause of how uncooperative he's been. Sonic finishes cleaning up the mess. He walks over to Shadow and lets out a sigh. "I'm sorry about Saku...Shadow, I-"

"It's okay Sonic..." the ebony hedgehog responded, he clears his throat "I...I kind of enjoy..." Sonic look at Shadow, before he smiles. He unchains the ebony hedgehog, and steps back. "I can't force you to love me...b-but you c-" Shadow shushes Sonic with a finger on his lips.

"I'm staying..."

"W-what?"

"I'm not repeating myself"

Sonic's ear twitches, as he just blankly stares ahead, he's dull eyes shifting to look off to the side, "T-that's um..." he grips his arm as blood started to drip onto the floor from his nails digging into his own arm, Shadow took a notice of this. "Sonic?..."

"I'm fine...I'm fine..." The blue hedgehog mutters, as he ruffles his quills. Before he just smacks himself to calm down, the bruising on his face was from himself hurting himself. "Okay...Okay..."

"B-but you can't leave...you can't go outside..." Sonic tells Shadow holding onto the collar of his jacket. "I...I'll...kill you..."

"Sonic?..." Shadow started, Sonic just turns away from Shadow he started to laugh to himself, "B-But you w-wouldn't l-leave...RIGHT?!" He grips the ebony hedgehog's jacket tightly, Shadow just saw the crazed look on Sonic's face, his dull emerald green eyes not making this situation any better, the ebony hedgehog just reached his hand out to trying and remove Sonic's hands. "T-That ring...y-your still think a-about her..." Shadow looks at the ring, he had to admit Rouge was still on his mind...how could he forget someone that saw him for who he really was, like Maria did, and stood by his side through the hard ships, but knowing what Sonic was cable of, he just slips the ring off his finger.

"I'm sorry Rouge..." He thought to himself, before tossing the ring. Sonic's ear twitches and he let go of Shadow finally, he just started to walk to the stairs of the basement. "Come on..." Sonic called out. Shadow followed after the blue hedgehog, he blinks when saw how clean the kitchen was. "Sonic?" Shadow asked as he didn't see the blue hedgehog anywhere, but he can hear the azure hedgehog, mumbling to himself about keeping everything locked even the windows. Shadow looked at the windows, they were shattered proof, and bullet proof.

"L-Lock...e-everything up...we don't want him to get out..." Sonic said as he finishes with locking every as well as putting a padlock on the windows, he puts the keys in a box.

"Sonic!" Shadow said grabbing a hold of the smaller male, "Hmm?" Sonic hummed looking up at Shadow.

"Calm down Sonic..." Sonic's ear twitches, he is being calm, he just has a weird way of showing how much he loves someone...he actually never had an social interactions in twenty years, he's been alone for that long, with the voices in his head, killing those he thought loved him.

"S-sorry" Sonic admits, he wraps his arms around Shadow and nuzzles into his chest fur.

"So warm..." Sonic purred as he had a smile on his face, he didn't care that Shadow didn't hug him back, or was creeped out with him, and his paranoid state, the weird satisfaction of torture, and harming himself. He felt a hand pull him away and he growled at Shadow.

Shadow heard the growl, and saw the crazed look in Sonic's eyes the ebony hedgehog stepped back before he grunted with a knife was thrown at him and pinned him to the wall.

"L-Let...Me Love you!!" Sonic hissed, Shadow takes a hold of the knife and started to pull the blade out of his flesh, before he grunted, he wasn't going to Sonic's the satisfaction of him whimpering from the pain...after all he's been through a lot more than Sonic can imagine. The blue hedgehog started to push the blade deeper into Shadow's arm, the blood staining the walls and the jacket that the ebony hedgehog was wearing. But snapping the hedgehog out of the trance was Midnight barking. The azure hedgehog blinks looking up at Shadow then knife, he pulls the blade out of Shadow's arm the ebony hedgehog grips his arm to stop the bleeding. He was making a mental note for himself, if he wanted to get out here alive, he was gonna have to not trigger Sonic's outbursts or the different personality changes.

Saku was a mystery, to the ebony hedgehog, since he didn't know what triggers her, and the other two dominant ones, pain and angering Sonic, seems to trigger them.

"I...Here..." Sonic said taking Shadow's jacket off and the remains of the shirt that Saku tore off, the wound wasn't that deep, but Shadow can see Sonic's just staring at him, before he shivers at feeling something wet on the wound. Sonic was licking the blood off of Shadow's fur, he could just mark him, but no.

"He could be tricky us..."

He pulls Shadow to the kitchen, to clean the wound, before starting to stitch the wound close. "S-Sorry..." Sonic stutters.

Shadow only lets out a small sigh, this was gonna be harder than it looked.
