Soon the classic dirt trail transformed into a mossy old stone road, owls chirped and howled, and the trees above me and Swiss creaked and swayed tiredly hiding all of the stars that twinkled in the night sky.

"Swiss where are you taking me?" I questioned being dragged by him "you'll see," he responded not hinting at where he was leading me, soon we stopped in front of an old iron gate with creepy gargoyles stationed on each side of it.

Swiss pulled the gate open with a deafening screech shutting it behind the both of us with a crash "almost there I promise" the ghoul explained his voice a tad bit scratchy.

Finally, he let go of my hand letting me take a look at my surroundings, before us stood a tall church the large building looming over us "is this the church you were talking about?" I inquired side glancing at Swiss whose hands were behind his back as he admired the building his tail swaying calmly.

"yes it is, beautiful isn't it" he grinned turning his gaze to me "indeed, it's a lot homier than my old church" I snickered following behind Swiss as he began to walk in feeling oddly at ease even though it would probably be a nightmare for an angle to even step foot into a church of satan.

As we entered the church Swiss abruptly paused leading to me accidentally bumping into his back "shit I didn't even think about that" he whispered staring at the ground in thought "think about what?" I asked leaning over to try and read his masked face.

"It's the middle of the night no one is awake right now, besides Rain maybe" he explained mumbling the last part of his sentence "who's Rain?" "just another ghoul" Swiss shrugged now turning his body to look at me.

He firmly placed both of his hands on my shoulders slightly looking down at me "come back tomorrow?" he suggested with a passive smile "can't I just stay with you?" I replied earning a smug grin from the ghoul in front of me.

"Didn't know we were that close already, not that I would mind" he said suggestively tightening his grip on my shoulders "you are so disgusting! what is wrong with you!" I exclaimed in disgust sending Swiss into a laughing fit.

My face felt hot I was defiantly flustered and that's probably what made Swiss laugh even more "it's not funny you oaf!" I huffed crossing my arms as I watched him slap his leg trying to get a hold of himself "but it was! I'm sorry your face was just" he wheezed making a circle-like hand motion over his face.

After an eternity he finally stopped laughing having to slightly lift his mask so he could wipe away tears "yeah, yes you can stay with me" he sniffed still trying to catch his breath "you are so annoying" I rolled my eyes beginning to walk further down the dark church hallway.

Swiss and I walked side by side now and then striking up a conversation or Swiss telling me to turn in a specific direction, my eyes were glued to the beautiful wallpaper that covered the church's bare walls.

I'd never imagined a church, specifically a church of satan to be so breathtaking- it was like a dream, once again Swiss asked me to turn right turning into a long hallway that seemed to be darker than the rest candles scattered around on small wooden tables flickering.

My heart dropped into my stomach fear swallowing it whole as the ghoul directed me towards an eerie basement, steps disappearing into nothing but black mass, I stared into the small archway un positively looking back towards Swiss.

He must have sensed my fear as he was already looking at me his eyes curious wondering if I would be brave enough to continue down the unsettling flight of stairs, it was almost like he was testing my bravery and commitment and I wasn't letting him down.
