Thrilling, the cold air and dusty rooms would explain better than words, how I was forgotten in a castle all alone, it shouldn't come as a surprise as I was the last of 13 children born to Lady Quinzen Priae of Dalgum and the high Lord Zakedyvish Priae of Dalgum. Lady quin wasn't one to be in order...she forgot easily and paid little to no attention to kids below the 4th.
The lord Zaked always on business traveling the vast seas had called for his family to relocate to Primog, as he felt a change of environment would be good for his family especially the lady who always wanted everyone at her beck and call and was loathe.
I was so little, played in the gardens almost all day with pebbles and swords, I cared nothing for the attention that wasn't given to me, I was free as a bird. I often snuck into the kitchen at times when hungry and food wasn't served yet and yelled from my tower when I was too bored to play even.
I heard the ruckus that day and saw them leaving from my tower, waiting for someone to come get me...I saw Mynelissa being dragged by our mother saying "come on Lissa, you are not going to make me late" and Lissa grunting "but mother", in all, no one did come up for me, and off they went without me. I was sure Lissa would probably remind our mother later, if she would listen.
I was left alone for 5 days before a messenger came for me. On the first day it didn't really feel different, other than people roaming the halls,it was quite and peaceful, I played all day and eat the apples that fell from the trees. On the second day I woke to the feeling of emptiness and loneliness but I cared not much for it, to me it was just going to be the same day all over again.
On the fourth day it got worse, I began to miss my brothers whom I often played sword fights with and ran around the castle, I began to miss trying to make my mom see what I could do, and then slowly I began to realize that although I didn't care for the attention, I sometimes wanted it, and enjoyed it when it was there.
I cried to sleep, alone in that tower. In the morning I woke to a noise coming from the front door, it was a tall fair gentleman, he stood there for a while and soon he started wandering. I hid...waiting for a right time to attack, when I jumped on him he was startled but overpowered me and told me he was sent to get me by my father.
I guess a part of me knew someone would come for me when they got there, and another part of me wanted my mother to get punished in some sort of way because after all I am my father's favorite, I am Diemos.
