They walked for quite a while before Emily was able to collapse onto the couch with a grunt and Kate handed her a glass of water. "Nobody died right?" Kate said, and Emily hated and loved that it was Kate's first question.

"You know me so well," Emily said back, "but sadly no bodies to burry." But she was definitely planning to follow that guy if he came to the cafe again. She hated the barrage of memories that came. Too blurry to concentrate on, but too many to concentrate on anything else.

"Aw, that's sad," Kate said as if she'd already made a plan on how to bury a body. Knowing her, she had formulated the plan in her head with excitement. "But why'd you call?"

"There was this guy-" Emily began, causing Kate to raise her eyebrows. "Shut up. Let me speak. And suddenly all this memories attacked my head like crazy." Emily clutched her head.

The pain wasn't there, but the memories were.

Kate twisted her head to the side. "So you're admitting that you have memories that possibly came from seeing someone familiar who you somehow forgot?"

Emily chucked a french fry at Kate in response, which Kate caught in her mouth.

"Maybe I'll ask MJ and Ned," Emily said because they'd hung out a lot, and if she knew that weirdo, so did they (most likely). She picked up her phone, dialled the number and put the call on speaker.

MJ picked up after a few rings. "Hey Emily, are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah yeah. Who was that guy who came right when I came?" Emily asked, getting straight to the point.

"Peter Parker," MJ said. Ned's shout came, and he was clearly next to MJ. "Are you sure you're okay?"

Emily nodded, then realised they couldn't see her. "Yeah, bye!" She cut the call quickly, turning around the name Peter Parker in the head. "He has the same name as me," she noticed. "Well surname."

"It's a popular surname," Kate shrugged, not looking up from her phone. "Shit!" She got up. "We have to get clothes for the party!"

"I didn't agree to this by the way," Emily pointed out. "And you asked me to marry you last week. Give me the ring and I'll go along with you to the party," she joked since she was sure that Kate didn't even have a ring.

"You'll come if I do?" Not even waiting for a response, Kate run upstairs while Emily stared at her blankly.

"I wasn't serious!" Emily shouted, but Kate had already run back down with a ring in her hand, jumping excitedly.

"Will you come with me to the party?" She asked, and at that point, Emily was pretty sure it would be rude to refuse. Besides, she might end up getting good food to eat so...

"Fine" Emily said and Kate put the ring on her right index finger.

"There we go!" She shouted. "Now, let's get something to wear before I get into more trouble."

Emily was sure that was easy for Kate.

***

Emily was pretty sure that this was her fault.

She'd decided to get Kate's suit first and then regretted it immediately. Kate looked way too good, so there was no way she would be able to pick something that looked like... The same good.

Besides, they'd spent way too long getting Kate's suit, and now they were running short on time, and Emily was done. "Terrible," She frowned impatiently, nitpicking every small thing in the dress.

"Next," Kate said, after snapping a picture of that dress as well. They'd decided to compare them, and so far, the first one, black in colour that reached halfway till the knee and was longer at the bottom was the best. It was also had off shoulders.

"Last one," Emily announced, coming out with a green dress. It wasn't as great as the black one, so she was pretty sure the choice was made.

As she got out of the changing room and payed for the clothes, she once again reminded Kate by shouting. "You're picking me up."

"And you're not leaving me alone in the depths of hell," Kate responded as they walked outside the mall. "I can't believe this dude Jack." She rolled her eyes. "He thinks he's so great and all."

Emily didn't really trust Kate to be non biased on that topic, so she just let Kate vent her emotions. She couldn't really say too much. Finally after Kate had finished, Emily gave her a little nudge. "Archery?" She raised an eyebrow and Kate nodded excitedly.

A small smile spread across Emily's face.
