Chapter 7 : What The Hell Is A Truke?

Andy and I were at the mall, shopping. Unlike most girls, I don't find shopping that fun. I would rather stay at home and scream the lyrics of my favorite songs while dancing awfully.

"Where do you wanna go now?" Andy asked while carrying about 5 paper bags.

"Can we stop by converse?"

"Yeah sure, what are you buying?"

"The All Black One."

"Ohhh Cool."

Once I bought my new converse, we headed down to where the food court was, we ordered two burgers and large fries, with drinks of course. We sat down and set the tray down the table, then started eating. A few minutes later Andy broke the silence.

"Sooo." She dragged out.

"Soo."

"You and Luke?"

"No!" I exclaimed.

"Jeez, don't need to yell, I heard you guys went on a date yesterday."

"First of all it wasn't a date. Second, the guy's got a girlfriend."

"Did you want it to be be?" Andy asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Did you want it to be a date?"

"No." I half lied.

"You're lying." She stated.

"No, I'm not." I said before she glared at me.

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes. "So, what did you guys do?"

"He took me to this really cute cheesecake shop, and we played bowling."

"Aww.. A cheesecake shop? That sounds cool."

"Yeah, he's taking the guys there later."

"Cool, did anything else happen?" She smirks.

"No, but he already considers me as his bestfriend."

"Aww."

"Stooop."

"Trukeee!"

"What the hell is a Truke?"

"You know, Tris + Luke."

"It sounds weird."

"I'll just come up with other one then."

"Yeah right, like Truke's ever gonna happen."

"It will."

"Whatever, Andrea."

"Ugh fine, at least I get to call you Truke." She smirks. "Best Friends, huh?"

"Yeah, what about it?" I asked before taking a huge bite.

"You know how stories of girl-boy best friends go."

"What?" I asked again, still confused.

"You know, one always falls in love."

"Untrue, me and Matt aren't even like that." I defended.

"That's what you know." she said dragging the "o".

"What do you know?" I raised my eyebrow before taking the last bite.

"Hmm nothing." She lies.

"I know when you lie, Andrea."

"You'll find out for yourself eventually, and it's not my place to tell you."

"Yeah, that makes me feel better." I said sarcastically.

"Good." She said which made me roll my eyes.

"So you and Luke?" She asks again while smirking.

"Ugh..lets just go back to my place."

"Yeah sure....Truke." She smirks again.

I opened our front door, to see the boys at the living room, Calum and Michael were playing Xbox and boy did they look serious, boys. Ash and Luke were just on their phones.

"Hey!" I greeted.

"Hey!" They responded.

I sat down in the middle of Ash and Luke, Andy sat down at the floor and watched Michael and Calum's Game.

"So, what are you guys doing?"

"Twitter, texting." They answered at the same time.

"So, who you texting, Lukey?" I smiled.

"Stella." He replied with a smile which made me drop my smile, gosh, stop overreacting Tris.

"Why are you using twitter, Ash?"

"Nah, I'm just really bored."

"How was the cheesecake shop by the way?" I asked him.

"ASH GOT A GIRLFRIEND!" Michael teases him.

"Cool, you met a girl?" I asked with a smile. " What's her name?"

"Haley." He smiles "And she's not my girlfriend...YET."

"How did you meet her?"

"Well, I was about to pay and she was at the counter, then I asked her who made the cheesecakes and she said that her grandma makes them but she helps her most of the time. Then I told her if she could show me how she makes it sometime, so she told me her name and gave me her number and i did the same." Ashton explained while smiling.

"Aww....Ash is all smiley." I tease him.

"Yeah whatever, Cliffor-"

"Hey Tris, wanna play?" Andy cuts him off.

"I told you before, I don't know how."

"Yeah, I know, I just love embarrassing you." She laughs.

"I hate yo-"

" I can teach you." Luke offers.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I could help you kick Andy's ass."

"Nice try Hemmings, but you can't defeat me." Andy proudly says.

"I'd love to." I smile at him.

He grabs two controllers and passed me one. Then he offers me to sit on his la- Wait? On his lap?

"Wouldn't that be awkward?"

"You're one of my best friends, why would it be?"

"You have a girlfriend." I said in a duh tone.

"Come on! I'm sure she wouldn't mind!" He said, dragging me.

So I sat on his lap and held the controller in the most comfortable way I can, but failed. Luke laughed my fail self.

"You just put this here, this one is to shoot, this one is to change the gun, this one's to reload the gun and so on." Luke explained "You ready?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, lets go!"

Luke started the game, after ten seconds my character died. Andy laughed when she realized I already died and it hasn't even been a minute. So I played two more rounds and tried to get a hang of the game, eventually I did.

Once we started my fourth game, I shot Andy once and Luke three times and Andy said Luke's just making me win. She pushed me of the couch once, so I didn't win.

Eventually everyone got tired and went home, after we exchanged goodbyes I went to my room and changed my clothes and brushed my teeth. I put on my earphones and lay down, and fell asleep to the sound of Kellin Quinn's voice.
