'Getting of the bus'

They carry on chatting about random shit until the bus slowly comes to a full stop opposite Matalan on Southtown.

She waits a few moments before looking out the window and realising this isn't the bus just stopping to let people off.

'What?' She says in her head.

She looks further on towards the bridge and sees that it's raised with a couple workers in orange high-vis jackets standing at either end.

They werent moving just standing there.

"Hmm, don't usually have boats go through at this time of night?" She says slightly confused
Too no surprise, not long after the bus driver steps out of his cabin and shouts to the passengers that the bridge has got stuck open.

To a worser note the bus has broken down aswell.

Meaning the bus terminates there.

"You got to be fucking kidding me!" She shouts slamming her hand on the seat.

"Ain't there another bridge or something?" Liam asks as Angie holds her head in her hands.

"Yeah there is but it's bloody long walk all around the fucking houses".

If you didn't already get the memo, Angie is very tired and the walk is a pain In the ass.

He throws the end of his fag out the window and stands up "come on, taxi then" he says and she takes her head out of her hands.

"Saturday night you must be joking" he sits down next to her.

"If we gotta walk then let's walk, come on, no point sitting in this shit" she smiles and they both stand up and make there way of the bus.

They walk towards the stairs and walk down them.

"Cheers" They simultaneously say to the bus driver and step off the bus.

They stand there for a second.

"You lead the way then, I dunno where the fuck were going do I?" he says.
Causing her to laugh.

"Well I'm not lying am i" she smiles and shakes her head.

"Your not" she adds.
"In all honesty I'm so glad I'm with you, there's barely any light this way and had cunts follow me around last time".

She starts walking but makes sure Liam is fairly close to her as they make their way into town.

"Promise. you'll be fine with me" he reassures.

Angie leads Liam from the bus and on towards Cobholm.

They cross the road, walk past the bar and through various roads to get on to the bridge road.

The pub was busy but luckly no one was outside.

The walk wasn't too far from where they got off.
