Occupation: Leader of Reprisal

Appearance: He has short dark brown hair that is usually slicked back as to not get in the way. Most of his body is robotic due to various different accidents (his whole right arm and half his left, his throat and most of his face, both legs half robotic and a large chunk of his chest and stomach area). He wears a uniform that covers most of his body so the only visible mechanical area is his face. His jaw and left eye have been covered/replaced with robotics, only his black right eye and the skin around that remain untouched. He is well built due to being a cyborg and 7'11- just very large and often intimidating. His uniform is dark in colour and well kept, he always keeps up a professional aura around him. A brown belt is tied around his waist containing various different chemicals and explosive devices. Most other weapons are concealed within his robotic arms, legs and back.

Personality: Valentin comes off very condescending and often times rude to those who don't know him. He speaks his mind, not afraid to tell the truth no matter who that may upset but he always means well. If he ever mutters something in Russian then chances are it's something mean. He cares a lot for people though and would never hurt an innocent person- specifically children. He's always had a soft spot for them, that's why he's unofficially adopted quite a few different people. Joking is much easier around those he knows as he can relax around people he trusts (such as other Reprisal members) but he keeps up a serious and professional persona around strangers or people he dislikes. 

Past: Valentin had a very bland childhood, not bad but not good either. His parents never really cared about him so he took up a parental role from a very young age, not wanting other children to feel unloved like he did. He was 29 when the first world war started and was quick to join the army to help. He wanted the honor of protecting innocent people. But he was quick to learn that the higher ups did not care about people- they only cared about winning the war. From that point onward, Valentin took a disliking to people of power and communism did not help. When he was 42 he fell in love with a young woman called Inga and they quickly got married. Within a few years they had a child (Nikita) and were living together happily until world war 2 begun. During the war their home city was bombed by the enemy and Valentin was unable to save his wife or daughter. He himself barely survived- his face and throat heavily mutilated. He only survived due to running into Ezra who at this point was well in touch with technology and gave him a prosthetic to keep him alive.

It took Valentin years to get over the death of his wife and daughter and he fully blamed people of power- not just in Germany but also Russia, Britain, France and pretty much just the whole world. Had they never started a war this wouldn't have happened. After around 10 years of wallowing in his own self pity he decided to get his revenge and sought out the man who saved his life- Ezra. It was easy to find an immortal man and once he met up with him they decided to create an organisation to retaliate against corrupt people of power- Reprisal. He was quick to find people willing to join whether they were innocent defenseless people or people of great power of whom he later gave the role of 'guardians'. The Guardians were the ones in charge of carrying out dangerous jobs and protecting the general public. While on a job in Mexico, Valentin met his now wife (Jacinta) and her daughter (Paloma).

Likes: family, children, organisation, his friends, high ceilings, cleanliness and dolls.

Dislikes: seeing innocent people getting hurt, governments, unjustified violence, aggressive people, arguments and sudden loud noises.
