Third Person's POV

Presley finally got done with choir and walked out of school at 3:30 pm. Harper stays with Presley after school as the girl doesn't like walking by herself, which is fine for the best friend.

The two of them walk to where Jade works to pay her a visit not knowing that she had seen her brother earlier. The two are regulars at the coffee shop that their friend works at and they order their usual.

Once the bell rings on the door signaling that someone is coming in Jade looks up from her phone as she's texting a friend of hers, that she's in hell. Aka work. Jade smiles at seeing Presley and Harper walking into the store, and she waves at them a little, and they wave back.

"Usual girls?" Jade asks, already knowing the answer as Maisy is the mascot for the coffee shop like Murph is for her Dad's deli. The two girls nod their heads, as Jade writes their order on their cups.

"How is hell?" Harper asks Jade, as the girl behind the counter snickers at Harper's question.

"Slow, and cranky ass people coming in." Jade comments about what happened as the other coworkers couldn't help but agree with Jade's comment.

"Sounds peachy." Presley snidely says as there were a couple of chuckles coming from Harper, Jade and other coworkers, that overheard their conversation.

"Yeah it is when you wanna strangle someone." Jade says as Dylan, one of their friends and the person that makes the drinks, couldn't help but agree with Jade. There were times when Dylan wanted to strangle some of the customers for being rude, and demanding.

"It's called threatening them with Dad." Dylan says as her father is the police officer in Queen's. Okay, the Chief of the police station.

After the girls got their drinks they said bye to Jade and Dylan the two girls left and were on their way to Harper's house to do their project. The two girls are talking about their classes and what they want to do for the weekend that's in a couple of days.

They got to Harper's house and were greeted with their rottweiler, who is about two years old.

"Hey Munchy." Harper says to the dog, as she and Presley take off their boots, and walk to the living room.

"Is that Presley?" Carter says to the girl as she giggles before running into his arms and him bringing the girl into a hug, as he's somewhat like a father figure in her life as both of her parents are dead. "How you been squirt?"

"Eh." Harper says as her father gives her a look with a smile on his face, as Harper sits on the couch with Munchy jumping onto the couch and on Harper's lap.

"That's good." Carter says breaking the hug between him and Presley giggles as she sees Janet coming from upstairs, and she runs towards her arms, and the two girls hug.

"Hi to you too Pres." Janet says with a little chuckle at seeing Presley, as she and Carter have missed her as it's been a hot minute since she's been at their house as she typically out with them on the weekends if she doesn't have plans. Since none of them but Harper and Wyatt know about Presley's little ego of being a superhero. It feels like forever to the parents of Harper and Wyatt.

"Where's WY?" Carter asks, as he just noticed that his son didn't come home, as he sometimes goes with his sister.

"He texted me that he's at Peter's. Him, Ned, and Peter are going to build something." Janet says to her husband, and he nods his head.
