"I figured it was only a matter of time before one of you showed up." Freya heard a voice behind her.
"Camille." Freya said with a smile, turning around to face the woman. The blondes embraced tightly before letting go. "Not that I'm not happy to see you, but you're not quite who I was looking for."
"I know." Cami said with a small smile. "You're looking for Elijah."
"Is he here?" Freya asked quickly, getting excited. If he was with Cami, it had to be peace. She couldn't imagine Camille being anywhere else.
"He's still struggling to find peace." Cami said gently.
"Is that where we are?" Freya glanced around. The desolate world wasn't exactly what she would call peaceful but she wasn't sure what was left since the other side was destroyed.
"No, this is limbo."
Freya's face crumpled. Not only was Elijah stuck in limbo, but so was Camille.
"Why are you here?" Freya demanded. "If anyone should be at peace, it's you."
Cami smiled at that. "I help guide lost souls to peace. I can travel between the two."
"That makes sense." Freya returned her smile. "You have always been good at helping lost souls."
They shared a meaningful look at that.
"How is he?" Cami asked. "He must be struggling after losing Elijah."
"He is." Freya admitted. She knew Klaus would hate to show weakness to anyone outside of the family, but he let Cami see that part of him. "Even more than he is showing us. But he's focusing on Hope."
Cami smiled once again and gave Freya a moment to take everything in. Limbo was not so different from the real world but it was a lot to adjust to. She was still in the courtyard of their home, but everything had a sort of blue tint to it.
"Do you know where Elijah is?" Freya finally returned her attention to Cami, who had taken a seat in one of the many chairs.
"I don't." Cami said sadly, "I tried to find him as soon as I felt him come over. He's either blocking me or he's so far gone I'm unable to locate him."
"Gone?" Freya was instantly alarmed by that. "What do you mean gone?"
"Gone, in his head." Cami handed Freya a glass of bourbon. At least some things never change. "Elijah has a lot of guilt to battle before he can truly find peace. Typically souls do that in limbo, however, knowing Elijah, he has locked himself away, atoning for his sins."
"We have to find him. I'll do whatever it takes to save him." Freya said urgently.
"I was hoping you would say that."

Cami led Freya upstairs to the study where several items were waiting on the desk.
"I was hoping they would find a way to send you." Cami grabbed what looked like a board game off of the desk. "I need your help to track down your brother."
"How does this work?" Freya questioned. "Is it like a locator spell?"
"Not quite. Typically, I feel someone come over and I just have to focus on them. Then, poof, I'm right there in front of them." Cami said, snapping her fingers in emphasis.
"What do you feel when you focus on Elijah?" Freya tried to quell the feeling of hope that was welling inside her. She was so close to seeing her brother again.
"It feels muted. I can sense he crossed over, but it doesn't feel like he is on this plane." Cami turned her attention back to the desk. "And that is what this was for."
