Chapter Ten: A Decision To Make

James wakes up and does his normal routine before checking his phone and turning on his tv.

For the first time in a while he had no missed calls or messages, but overhears the tv and looks up to see coverage of the previous nights events.

Reporter: We believe this likely has something to do with Anthony Green and/or his supporters fighting the A-Tech corporation. But I mean come on people, A-Tech has brought a resurgence of jobs and opportunity to many towns like Portsmith so to break the law and fight them is pure stupidity.

"This reporter really thinks he knows the true A-Tech. They're killing people for mere entertainment and the news is defending these pricks."

James gets up from his couch and leaves to go for a walk. Tonight he has some decisions to make and some important things to do. Tonight he's getting every bit of information he can out of Jack WIlliams and then disposing of him like A-Tech disposed of so many people for some games. But there's also what to do with his situation with Katie, and what his next move even is after getting the info from Jack.

He leaves the building and begins his walk through the freezing winter weather. Arriving in Seaside, he is immediately taken to the room they're holding Jack Williams.

Anthony: Do you think he'll talk?

James: Absolutely. I'll make him talk if I have to.

Anthony: Ruthless. I like it!

The two turn to the weakened Jack who moves his head up to meet their stare.

Jack: Mia wasn't enough so they had to send in the big guns huh?

James: Shut up Jack!

Anthony: She really messed you up. Gonna take some expensive surgery to fix your face Mr Williams.

Jack: Well I'll be sure to get it once you fools let me go.

James: Let you go? That's funny! Here's what's going to happen Jack. You are going to tell me anything I want to know or you're not walking out of here.

Jack: Piss off. Your breath is rancid James.

James immediately delivers a swift punch to Jack's face, giving him a black eye as it begins to swell.

James: I suggest you lay off the attitude. This is our game now!

Jack: Well then let's play.

James: Fine. Where's John?

Jack: My brother? He was silenced after the failed raid of this shithole.

Anthony slaps Jack taking away his smug demeanor.

James: Alright. So what operations do you have left in Seaside?

Jack: None and if you would've let us go then we'd be out of your life forever, but you screwed that up.

Anthony: Yeah I guess we did. But we also gained a lot of weaponry and ammunition against A-Tech through you so I guess you have my gratitude.

Jack: What you have is nothing compared to the company. Chancellor will be here with an army to end you bastards.

James: Not if he cares about A-Tech's reputation. All eyes are on us, but more importantly, all eyes are on him and every action he takes.

Jack: I'm too valuable to be lost. He'll be here.

James: That's funny. You won't be if you don't tell me everything. Where is the A-Tech HQ located?

Jack: Oh that's public, Dallas of course.
