Bakugou's Pov:
I pick up the last bite of my food and shove it in my mouth, savouring the flavour like a starved dog, which I suppose in a way I am. My parents never liked sharing any food so I went hungry most of the time. I look up at the tv and see the show is finishing, I'm kind of disappointed by that but a season can't last forever, I suppose. I look over at Deku and see him starting to get up. He picks up our empty plates and walks towards the door. "I'm going to wash our plates, feel free to watch anything you want, remote is on the table". "W-wait!" I yell as I quickly get up and rush over to him, "I can help, you've already done so much for me, the least I could do is help with the dishes". He looks me up and down before giving a small nod, as he turns away I swear I could see a smile, that makes me smile knowing he's happy, hopefully he's impressed with me as well. I'll do my best to make sure his whole house is always clean and maintained properly, it's the least I could do after what he's done for me.
We walk out of the lounge room, down the hallway and into the kitchen, he sits the dishes in the sink before starting the warm water. I reach up and grab the soap and pour some in before grabbing a tea towel and standing off to the side and out of the way while I wait for him to wash them. I would offer to do all of it, washing and drying but I don't think he wants me around a knife, judging by the way he keeps the knife out of my view as well. What does he think i'll do with it? Stab him? No..... He wouldn't think that, is he worried i'll hurt myself? I was perfectly fine using one to eat breakfast. I let out an annoyed huff and he chuckles, my eyes widen and I stare at the back of his head. "I'm well aware what thoughts are going through your head, ruby" He turns to look at me with a smile. "The knives are covered in soap, they are very slippery and you could hurt yourself quite easily so you are not aloud to touch them" He turns back to the sink and I huff again. "Fine, but only because I don't want to worry you" I mumble under my breath, still pouting but the reason is acceptable, he's only worried for my health after all. I can't even remember the last time someone was concerned about my health.... After Deku finished the washing the dishes, I quickly stepped in to dry them and put them away, after asking for explanation of where everything went. If he lets me stay with him, I'll be able to recognise and remember everything in his house. I'll be the best maid he will ever have, I swear it, I won't disappoint him and get thrown out, I can't afford to.
Once it was all done, Deku briefly mentioned that he had a garden, I immediately perked up and requested to go see it. He was more than happy to oblige and escorted me outside like a gentleman, causing a tomato blush to cover my whole face. He took me down one of the pretty paths that lead to the balcony overlooking the fountain and let's just say I was not disappointed at all. Every type of flower known to mankind was in here, lovely green hills covered in healthy and lush grass, the huge fountain was in the middle of the garden, looked to be over a 100 years old from the design and pattern. Beautiful flowers of every colour and even what I think is a mini creek or waterfall feature in the distance. I've never seen one in real life, only in those rich people movies.
