valentine's day | ✏🖊

A/N: I noticed that not many people ship these two due to the few interactions they make in the show. I personally think it's ok , I just think they'd be either good friends or siblings, maybe even a one-sided relationship. I'll try my best to convey romantic feelings between them in this chapter, and will also use (mention) some events from the show, yaaayy. Also this was requested by @nukers473 ! Have fun reading! <3

Pencil sat in her room and reminisced the good old days, when Pen made his way into her heart, without even realizing it.

She swooned at just the thought, remembering how heroically he saved her from that sea monster, though it wasn't just him.

How about that time he carried her for that one episode, Cycle of Life? She remembered how she felt so giddy as she was held by him. He was so caring and sweet, and kind..

She could go on and on about him, naming everything she saw in him and how he was absolutely perfect. She didn't realized that a few minutes ago, her best friend had walked into her room.

"Pence-pence, like, hello?" The pencil snapped out of her daydreams, turning to her best friend.

"Huh.."

"Um, finally? That took like, ten minutes, just to get your attention. Anyways, look!"

Match showed Pencil her phone, jumping up and down. She could only make out some numbers, before snatching the matches phone and holding it close to her face.

"Oh. My. God." Her jaw dropped.

"I know, right??" Match squealed.

The two began to jump together, why you ask?

"I cannot, like, wait for Valentines Day!" Pencil exclaimed.

"And it's only TOMORROW!!"

That's why, the two were filled with excitement.

Pencil had also realized that this could be the perfect opportunity to tell Pen her feelings!

"So, like, who do you want be your Valentine?" Match chirruped, taking her phone back, and sitting on the others bed.

"Oh! Haha.. well.."

"Let me guess.. Pen." Match smirked.

Pencil blushed furiously, before nodding slowly.

"Haha, called it! He better like you back because like, you're so amazing!"

Pencil smiled, "Thanks, Matchy."

Match gave a thumbs up.

"Anyways, wanna come with me to the mall? We, like, have to prepare for tomorrow!"

"Always!"

Haha timeskip, they're useful.

The two arrived at the mall, and they could feel the love that was arising. Many store had early Valentines sales, and it smelled strongly of colognes and perfumes, as well as sweets snd flowers.

Something immediately caught Match's eye.

"Oh, look at those cute chocolates! They're heart shaped and everything!" Match dragged Pencil along, looking through the windows that showcased special Valentines chocolates.

"Aw! They're, like, adorable!"

Pencil smiled, and imagined herself and Pen, eating some chocolates together, cuddling with each other after confessing their love for one another.

..Confessing.

Pencil's smile faltered, as the sounds of Match and passerby around her was drowned out.
