"Alright, mum.. I'm off!!" Nnani shouted as she got her things ready. Nnani's mother rushed out with her apron on and gave her daughter a big hug.

Today is the day Nnani finally goes to dueling academy in Japan and her first time of leaving South Africa for the first time.

She was nervous but excited at the same time. She was finally going to fully achieve her dreams in becoming the new queen of games.

"Be careful out there my dear. Remember to call every day and don't stress yourself okay?"

"Yeah mother. I promise to make you proud."

"I am already very proud of you my dear. Now go out there and show the world what you can do."

As soon as she said that, a car horn is heard. Nnani grins. Their neighbor, Mr Akanor has arrived. He generously offered to take her to the airport when he got the news that she was admitted to dueling academy. In fact, the town found out and were praising her for the admission.

Not everyone in her town had such an opportunity..but it seems the gods had blessed Nnani.

"Don't worry mother, I will do just that.." Nnani's mother gave her a peck on the forehead. Both females then went off to greet Mr Akanor who greeted them with a smile. Mr Akanor has been friends with Nnani's family for years and also helps her father in  taking care of the family whenever he travels.

Nnani's father is Japanese and is also an archeologist. Her mother is African and a master chef. With both strong occupations, they were more than able to put food down on the table. Nnani's father has being able to discover many outstanding artifacts and her mother's cooking were like what God in heaven eats everyday. Because of this...many teenagers her age grew quite envious of Nnani, but she couldn't care less.

Her parents met during an expedition in South Africa and both of them fell in love at first sight.

That's how she got her name when she was born.

Nnani Achibe Namikaze. Half Japanese, half African.
Age 16.
Dark skin like her mother, yellow eyes like her father and a hair mixture of black and yellow. Quite the epitome of an African beauty.

Nnani's mother greets Mr Akanor with a smile as Nnani places her things in the car. "Thank you for taking my daughter to the airport. How can I ever repay you?"

"Ah.. don't fret my dear. Your daughter is mine as well. I'm very proud that she has finally reached her dreams. But she has a lot to do if she wants to remain the queen of games."

Nnani enters the passengers seat. "I know Mr Akanor. Thank you very much sir."

The old man pats her double coloured plaited hair.

Soon they were off. Nnani poked her head to wave goodbye to her mother who waved back with tears of joy flowing down her cheeks, already missing her baby girl.

Many people waves her at as she drove pass them. Wishing her good luck.

Nnani waves back and sits comfortably, already missing her home town. She subconsciously touched her necklace, the one her father gave her during one of his expeditions.

It was a necklace that has a golden round circle with the eye of Horus in the middle. Straight from Egypt. It was a gift to her from her dad when he found out about her admission. He was so proud, he bragged about her all day.

Nnani couldn't wait to see what adventure was awaiting her when she gets to the academy. The ride to the airport was silent but not awkward.

Within a couple of minutes, they arrived at their destination. Mr Akanor helped to get pass and with a few words of wisdom and prayers, she was off with Mr Akanor waving at her and wishing her good luck.
