Someone clutched onto her from behind. She felt a chill go down her spine at the contact. Whoever that was hugging her from behind felt so cold to be human.
She felt strange. As if the touch was already familiar to her.
The person was now at her side and she looked up to see who it was. She was shocked to see that the person was a boy.
He looked transparent with ghostly orb like things floating at his sides. He was wearing an old school uniform and a hat, with a seal on his right cheek. But her face didn't show the shock she was feeling right now. Instead, she was showing irritation.
He looked familiar.
She couldn't even move her body according to her own wishes. Instead, her mouth moved on its own as if she already knew this guy in front of her.
"Hanako-kun! How many times do I tell you not to disturb me at the middle of class!" She hissed lowly, but the boy ignored her words and pouted.
"But, Yashiro! I came to see my lovely assistant because I missed her!" He looked at her, his amber eyes looking at her mischievously.
Just who was this boy?
"Well, you can meet me after school like always! Stupid Hanako-kun! I'm in the middle of class right now!" She was still whispering harshly, and seems like she really was in class.
Wait. How was she in a high school class?! And how was she supposed to be his assistant?! She didn't even know this guy! But he did look like someone she knew...
"Don't you miss me though?" He asked, cheekily, getting into her personal space without her permission.
She huffed and turned her head so she couldn't see him. "Not at all." She replied, nonchalantly.
"Ouch! That really hurt my poor dead heart!" He gasped, maybe overreacting it a bit too much.
She turned and glanced at him, grimaced when he held his hand to his heart. It looked too dramatic. And then she sighed. "Hanako-kun..." She mumbled, he looked at her and smiled. "Yes, Yashiro?"
She smiled back. "I was just kidding. I do miss you." The boy looked at her his eyes glittering with awe. "As a friend of course." And he drooped a bit at that. But was quick to mask it. And it seems like she didn't notice it.
But the fact was that she did notice it. But her face was giving an expression, that she didn't notice it.
He then smirked and latched onto her making her yelp.
The teacher looked straight at her annoyed. And she flushed at the embarrassment. "Yashiro-san, can you stop interrupting the class?" He asked, trying to find out what was her problem. She was shocked when no one in the class seemed to notice the boy who got her into trouble in the first place.
This boy was a ghost?! She was friends with a ghost?! He was transparent in the first place...
She stood up and looked at the teacher meekly. "I'm so sorry, Sensei." She apologized and quickly sat down.
The teacher sighed and started to continue with his teaching.
The boy was laughing at her as he floated. She only glared at him. He gave her a teasing grin. "Well, see you later Yashiro~" He drawled, her name out teasingly and disappeared instantly.
She was shocked. But couldn't express it, she seemed to express anger and irritation at the moment. But she was actually really shocked.
That voice was the same voice she heard when she-
