Chapter 4 - Memories

10 months after Jin's death 

After all the months that had gone by, Jungkook couldn't seem to get over Jin's death. There were times he'd cry so hard he felt like dying. 

He lost a lot of weight and his hair was down a bit below his shoulders from not cutting it. 

One night Jungkook was sitting up on his bed hugging his knees. It was 3 in the morning and he couldn't sleep. He looked out the window to see the pretty night sky and city lights below. They were calming in a way. While looking at the stars he suddenly remembered a memory with Jin.

Flashback 2 years ago April 27th, 20xx

Jin and Jungkook were on a date. Jk had set up a little picnic for the two of them. He surprised Jin with it and after eating their food and talking, it started to get dark, so they happened to start stargazing. 

"Heh, Look at that one, it looks like a ballerina," Jin said, pointing up at the sky. 

Jungkook titled his head trying to see it. 

"Where? I can't see it" Jungkook said. 

"Look, there's her head, legs, pointy shoes…" Jin continued listing off the stars while he pointed at them.

Jungkook shifted, tilting his head again, trying to connect the stars to see it. He finally saw it this time. "Wow, that's amazing," Jungkook said, admiring it. 

"Yeah, it's pretty cool what you can find in the stars" 

"Hm, if only we could find your last two brain cells," Jungkook lamely said, teasing him.

 "Hey" Jin said, lightly slapping Jungkook's chest. Jk was laughing uncontrollably. 

"Why do you gotta ruin the mood, huh? You're no fun" Jin said, laying back down. 

Jk smirked. He sat up and looked at Jin.

 "What?" Jin said, sitting up slightly, propping himself up with his elbows. Jungkook then leaned over Jin, surprising the other.

 "I love you, no matter how much intelligence you lack"

 "Watch your words mister, I'm still older than you, you know?"

 "Yeah, I know," Jk said.

 "Well that doesn't seem to matter to you," Jin sneered.

 Jungkook smiled at him. He moved closer to Jin, caressing his cheek slowly with his hand. "I love you" Jungkook said, still smiling at him. 

"No, don't you dare change the subject, I'm not finis-" Jin's words were cut off by Jungkook bringing his lips on his.

At first Jin tried to pull away, but then Jungkook kissed him more passionately and then he gave up.

 He kissed him back and melted into it. They sweetly kissed each other for a good minute or so.

End of flashback

Jungkook looked from the stars back down. He took a deep breath thinking about that memory. 

If he was honest he wished he would have kissed Jin more, hugged him more, said 'I love you' more, taken him to more places, etc. He started to cry again thinking of everything.

Through sobs he said "I- If I could just go back in time, I would prevent all this, I'd prevent him from leaving. Why'd he have to leave? Why?!" he screamed out loud. 

"PLEASEEE I'D DO ANYTHING TO HAVE HIM BACK!!!" 

He fell asleep after crying hard.
