Hello!! My name is Malina and I'm 15 years old, let me tell you a bit about me!!
My mum and dad split up when I was about, 7 maybe? I don't remember much but I remember the horror of that night. It was a Tuesday, I know that, at 7:32pm, Yes I know it's weird I don't remember all the details but I remember the exact date I know it's odd but anyways, my dad came home drunk, as he would every night and was getting rowdy. VERY rowdy. I don't have a vivid image of everything that happened that night, but there was some blood, tears and ALOT of shouting. In the end dad moved away and got a new family and completely forgot about me. It doesn't matter though, at least I've got mum.
After dad moved away mum thought it would be a good idea to do the same, move somewhere tropical or warm. I didn't mind the idea to be honest, I missed my friends a lot but bad things had happened in that place.
When we got to our new house it was extremely small, but we made it work! I started school at the Californian High school and things where going smoothly. I didn't have any friends in the first few weeks, but I honestly didn't mind! I loved sitting under the big oak tree in the field, I loved it there for many reasons but the main reason was because nobody disturbed me and I could watch what everyone was doing, playing football, chatting, eating, singing, it was as if everything was laid out just for me to see. After a few weeks a girl came up to me though asking if I wanted to hang out with her, I wasn't that bothered but I knew I couldn't sit alone forever, plus I'd been sitting under the tree for so long I'd already heard and seen everything there was to be seen!

"Hey val!" I said swinging the door open, "come in!" I led her inside as she looked around, (this was her first time coming over, we usually hung out at her house or at the cafe down the road!) "I love your house!" She said a smile creeping along the sides of her mouth, "thanks!" I quickly replied before pulling her into the living room.
