Prologue

"Getting Closer"

-Angelica's POV-

I'm visting my auntie in two weeks! I really want to visit that beautiful Edmond, Oklahoma they all talk about...

I hope the teachers may take it easy with the exams, because the study guides are pretty long.

Well, Monday first week day. Here we go..

Woke up at 6:00a.m, brushed my teeth, took a bath and, straightened my dark blue sweater, jeans and, my pair of black-pink detailed Converse.

I combed my curly brownish hair, and braided it quickly.

I'm not used to apply too much makeup, instead I like to carry my arm with some bracelets. I always carry my bullet necklace for luck.

You know, mabey I'll need luck today. I pulled my Greyson Chance bracelet to my right wrist.

I grabbed my back pack, dashed down to the living room to say bye to mom.

"Bye Mom! Love You!"

"Take care. I love you,too. Good luck, honey."

I softly pushed my 8 year-old brother, Henry, out of the house.

Today I feel like having a little patience with him, you know I don't wanna cross paths with Karma.

I walk to school, it is close to my house and some of my friends live nearby.

"Hi ! Angelie " Elise said bumping into me from the back.

"Hey, you scared me." I replied to her crazy way of greeting people in the mornings.

"I know."

"Do you know if Katherine is coming?" I asked my hyperactive bestie.

"Katherine told me that she was in a rush. She woke up earlier."

"Oh" This time I think I'm not having a morning hug. Oh, well."

"Poke!Poke! Poke!"Henry started tapping Elise in her belly. Tickle fight.

"Stop poking me!"Elise said as she poked Henry back.

I felt hands in my eyes.

"Guess who."

-"Julie, I know its you !" I replied to July, her annoying greeting. Yeah, she admits it. She does it everyday only because she likes to see if one day she gets on my nerves. The thing is that, you have to be my brother or like him to kill my patience.

-"How did you knew?!"

-"YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO DOES THAT TO ME!" I exclaimed at her dumb question.

Sorry, my patience exploded for a second.

I looked at my watch.

-"its 7:35 we need to hurry! " I shouted sprinting to the sidewalk.

We ran to school and there we found Katherine. " Angelieee!!" Katherine said while she was running toward me to give me the daily-morning hug. "Katy!"I hugged her back.

The bell rang." See you later. " Elise said. I followed Katy, we are in the same class room for the first two clases.

Our first classes are Science and English.

We headed to the Science Lab. I like Science, it is an interesting subject to me, thanks to it, my day will start pretty fine.
