Chapter 12 A Wedding to Remember

After spending half the night in the bathroom I finally crawled into bed praying everyone was gone. I didn’t want to see Alec or Jace ever again. But something was telling me all hell was going to break loose and I’d be stuck right in the middle of it.

It was forever before sleep came and as soon as it came I felt someone shaking me awake. It couldn’t be time to wake up yet. Groaning I rolled over pulling the covers over my head.

“Get up” someone yelled jerking the cover’s off the bed making me roll over to glare at the person.

“WHAT” I screamed opening my eyes to see Alec standing at the foot of the bed staring at me. I looked down and almost died my cheeks burning hot.

“Nice” Alec said staring at my half naked body. I was so tired last night I just slept in my bra and underwear.

“Oh god, get out now” I said pulling a pillow over my body and another over my head.

“It’s time to get ready for the wedding sweetheart.” Alec said then the door opened and shut.

How the hell am I going to face him now? And why is he in such a good fucking mood?

“Because your sister will kill you if you don’t get up and get ready. Alec is just a dick” I told myself. I threw the pillows off and climbed off the bed pulling on my jeans and a t-shirt. Jules said that we were going to a spa to get ready before the wedding which starts at 8 p.m. and it’s noon, UGH!

When I walked out into the living room I saw Alec sitting on the couch grinning like a kid. He stood up as soon as he saw me moving so he blocked me from the kitchen. He was wearing a white tank top showing all his muscles with dark jeans, his long hair falling around his beautiful face.

“Go away” I said looking at the floor. My cheeks hot just thinking about him seeing me in my underwear.

“No” he said lifting my face to his with his finger “I need to tell you something and I need you to listen”

“Fine” I said looking up into those beautiful eyes.

“I am sorry about last night I thought you were messing around with Jace in the bathroom not that he took you in there unwillingly. It bothered me and I took my anger out on you. Devon and I are not together and I have no intentions of killing you” Alec said. I tried to nod but his hand was still holding my face so I was looking at him.

“Ok” I said trying to pull away but he wouldn’t let go.

“You’re not trying to scare her again are you” Jules voice sounded irritated and almost angry.

Alec pulled away from me with a cocky smile and winked at me. What the hell is he playing at? Nevermind I don’t want to know. I moved around him going to the kitchen grabbing a bottle of water then glanced over at Jules who was glaring at Alec. She must be upset about last night still, I don’t blame her so am I.

“So what are we doing first” I asked hoping to break the staring contest between the two.

“First we are going to feed you then we are going to a spa to get ready for the wedding. So what you’re wearing is fine let’s go.” She said walking toward the door with a final look at Alec.

I started to follow like the good little dog I feel like when I felt Alec right behind me. I started to turn around when he whispered in my ear.

“You looked really hot this morning” I felt a blush rise to my cheeks again and wanted to smack him for that but when I turned around he was gone. Asshole!
