Soul was only two years old when she was adopted into the pack. To the wolves, Soul was unlike anything they had ever seen. The alpha pair, Willow and Cedar, decided to take Soul in as their pup, They swore they would teach her all the basic things she would need to know including human languages such as English and Spanish. Soul was a beautiful child, even though she wasn't like every other human. Soul is what most people would call an animal hybrid. Most of the population did not agree with fusing your body with an animals DNA. When Soul was just two years old, her mother decided to get her daughter tested for wolf DNA. Soul's mother was already fused with the wolf and had unintentionally passed that on to her daughter. When Soul's test returned as positive, her father was enraged with the news and took Soul to the forest, where he had left her there to be killed by the forest animals or the elements. Not long after Soul was dropped off in the forest, her mother was killed in a car accident. While Soul was alone in the forest, she had found a way to entertain herself by playing in the grass. Soul soon realized that she wasn't alone and there was another animal who wanted to play, a wolf pup. Cedar, who is the Alpha male of the Kiowa Pack, was looking for the run away pup when he found the pup and Soul playing together in the grassy clearing. He knew the dangers of the humans. However, Cedar sensed something different about the young girl sitting in front of him. Cedar carefully approached Soul only to find two small grey wolf ears poking out of her beautiful silver hair. Cedar looked around to see if he could find the caretakers of the girl, but with no luck, he looked down only to be surprised. Soul had looked up at Cedar while he was looking around as if she knew he was there, and to his surprise she had two different colored eyes, One was a bright blue and the other was a crimson color. Cedar made a quick and extremely risky decision. Cedar decided he was going take Soul to the pack and introduce her to them instead of letting her die in the forest alone. Willow, The alpha Female, was ecstatic that Cedar brought a pup for them to take care of, seeing that she could not produce her own litter. The pack soon realized that the child they were raising was growing much faster than they would like. When Soul was ten years old, Willow and Cedar had unfortunately passed away. During the funeral for the alpha pair, a lady approached Soul and informed her that Willow and Cedar had left Soul in her care. The lady then escorted Soul to her new home and introduced herself and her children. Rose was a great mother figure for Soul because Rose knew how to fit into the human world. Soul was happy with the life she had, although she didn't know what would lie ahead. Rose had signed her up for school. Soul was excited to hear about school, but she didn't know what school would be like for a hybrid like her. What would people think about her? Would she have to hide her identity? There was one thing she knew for sure, Things would never be the same.
