(Soul's Point of View)

"I'm ready to go now!" I said as I walked out the door and headed for the car. Mom was freaking out because she couldn't find her camera or her keys. I set the small black and white backpack in the passenger seat of the car and walked back inside to tell the twins goodbye and try and help mom calm down. I got inside and Jeff was sitting in his chair like always but this time he was trying to entertain the twins, so they aren't in the way of me and mom moving stuff in and out of the house. Jeff was going to be watching the twins while mom and Luna take me to the school. The reason Luna is coming is because she's going to be coming to this school when she's older and she just didn't want to stay home. Luna wanted to have the chance to say a proper goodbye to me and to see the school that I was going to. "Mom, your camera is in the car." I told her as she was passing by. "And what about my keys?" She asked, "their also in the car." I replied as I watched her sigh in relief but then start to frown. I knew why she was frowning, she isn't ready for me to leave yet, and honestly neither am I. I'm nervous about having to go to school and leaving my family, Although I never understood the concept of having random people teach you things that you probably already know or should already know, But I guess that's just something that 'Normal' people do. I look up as I hear Luna's room door open, She slowly walks out of her room a frown on her face and tear stains on her cheeks as if she's been crying for a while. She slowly closed her door and stood there for a few minutes facing her door looking at the knob. I started up the stairs to see if she was ready to go, but as I got closer I heard her sniffling. I turned her towards me and looked at her tear filled eyes, "What's wrong Luna, is something bothering you?" I asked as I kneeled and softly wiped a tear that was threatening to roll down her cheek. She looked at me with a small whine, "I don't want you to go....." she said her voice cracking. I looked at her then hugged her as she started to cry, I understood that she was sad I was leaving, I reassured her that everything would be okay. I grabbed Luna's hand and we went downstairs so I could say bye to the twins and Jeff.
I sat in the back seat with Luna on the long car ride to the school. My mind was racing as we got closer and closer. My nerves were getting the best of me and I was getting slightly motion sick. I looked at my phone and changed the playlist from my regular playlist to my Downloaded songs and then looked out the window again only to see the biggest building I had ever seen(Photo at top). "Welcome to Crestwood Heights Academy." I heard Mom say. Luna was staring out her window in awe her tail wagging. I looked out my window and looked at the building and all the students in the main courtyard. Once we parked and got out Luna immediately started running to the front doors, of course I'm the one who had to chase her. we got to the courtyard as I finally caught Luna and picked her up. "Hi!" A girl had ran up to us waving. She had Beautiful dark blue hair, Green eyes, and Freckles. She looked at me and smiled, "You must be the new kid! My name is Raven, I am the President of the Student Council! I'll be the one showing you and your family to your dorm and be the one to help you move your stuff in!" She Started to walk into the building with us following her in. Mom was super excited to see the inside of the school, and to be completely honest, I don't blame her. It was absolutely beautiful. As we walked into the main office I saw 4 kids sitting in the chairs by the window getting lectured by I'm guessing the secretary for fighting or something along those lines. We walked into the principals office and began to go over my schedule and classes. "The Dorm Rules aren't much different from what your house rules would be. Curfew is at 10:30pm, you must be in your Dorm room by then. Breakfast is from 6:00 to 7:40 and Classes start at 8:00. Passing period is about 5 Minutes which should get you from class to class with no prior issues. Any Questions?" The Principal asked looking straight at me, which made me slightly nervous. "Uhm n-no I think I got it.." I said as I rubbed my arm. He Smiled and soon sent us into my dorm, which was actually pretty big. It didn't take too long for me, mom and Raven to get all my stuff into the room and set up. Luna was happily sitting on my Lofted bed as I started to say goodbye to mom, which.... wasn't easy. Luna hopped down from my bed and hugged me tightly slightly crying asking when I would be coming home, which broke my heart. "I'm not sure but I know I can always Visit..." It wasn't easy to say goodbye but I knew they had to leave. I finished setting up my room and Laid down on my bed, I fell asleep soon after. I figured I'd meet my Roommate in the morning when I woke up.
