Michaela and Lyla knocked on the door. They could hear the music blasting from inside. A person swung the door open and looked over Lyla. "Hey Sugar!" he said letting us both in. Lyla smiled at him and playfully hit his chest.

"Who's that?" Michaela said leaning into Lyla.

"a person from my math class who has been flirting with me." she said giggling.

Michaela looked at her and smiled. She had her arms folded around her chest to try and conceal the fact that the dress was very low cut.

"Stop trying to hide the goods and have a good time tonight." Lyla said, unfolding Michaela's arms.

Michaela let her arms fall to her sides and exposed her low-cut dress. She walked over to the mini bar and watched as Lyla was led to a room by the guy that answered the door.

Michaela poured herself a drink and went and stood on the balcony looking over the courtyard at night. Her hips lightly swayed to the music, and she felt uneasy but with every sip the feeling slowly went away.

She walked back into the tiny room and started dancing with the other people. She could feel the bodies of everyone around her and the giggles from the people in the corners. She saw the guy that sits next to Ash and went up to him.

"Hey!" she said, smiling at him and dancing to the music.

He smiled at her. "Hey!"

"I confronted Ash! He took it pretty well. Well, I guess I didn't confront him, but I just apologized. Although he should be apologizing to me because he's the one with the partner and the one who said yes when I asked him out!" she took a deep breath and looked at the guy who awkwardly stood there. "Am I crazy?"

"I don't know." he said looking around at the other people who swayed with the music. "I think that's my friend over there."

She watched him walk away and she flopped down on the couch next to someone who had passed out and then she crossed her legs sitting there just watching the people dancing around her. She scanned the people hoping to see Ash, but she knew he wouldn't be there.

She made eye contact with a couple of the people dancing but someone's eyes stood out more than the others. The icy blue eyes that pierced through the people dancing. He stared at her, and she stared back. His eyes trailed down her body taking in the dress she was wearing when she usually just wore a t-shirt and sweatpants.

His eyes made their way back to hers. He was there standing in front of her.
