Michaela sat in the courtyard with Lyla eating their lunches and talking about the classes they had.

"So that blond dude, Ash or tips, is in one of my classes." she said wiggling her eyebrows

Michaela laughed as she said this. "Yeah, he's also in my English class. A couple of days ago I caught him looking at me and then I just panicked, and I felt myself blush. Then every day since, I've seen him glancing at me."

Lyla's eyes lit up as Michaela said this. "Maybe he likes you!" she said with a huge grin. Michaela rolled her eyes and looked across the courtyard and saw Ash sitting alone by a tree. He was reading his textbook and had his ear buds in.

"Go and talk to him or I will for you." Lyla said looking at the way Michaela was staring at the boy.

"I can't..." she said shaking her head and looking down at her sandwich.

Lyla got up and started walking towards the boy. "His name is Ash, right?" she said, turning back towards Michaela. Michaela stood up and ran towards her.

"No please! I don't even know what to say."

"Ask him to study with you." she said smiling and tapping the boy on the shoulder. He took out his earbuds and looked up at the two girls that stood over him.

"Hi." he said as he looked between us. Lyla nudged Michaela's arm and she coughed.

Michaela's eyes wandered over his body and took in everything. The way that his shirt hugged his frame and the way that he was sitting on the ground, so his legs were hugged closely to his chest. After a few moments she snapped out of it. "I was wondering if you're free this Friday?" Michaela said as she looked into his eyes.

"To study!" Lyla said. Michaela glared at her and then looked back towards Ash and smiled.

He straightened his back and smirked a little bit. "I'd like that." he said, "I've got a test this Friday but Saturday works!"

"Alright!" Michaela said. "See you Saturday."

She and Lyla walked back to the bench they were sitting on. Michaela was beaming but then her smile faded.

"Uh-oh what's wrong?" said Lyla.

"I didn't give him my name. Or number." Michaela said looking back towards the tree but to her surprise the boy was gone.
