Well it was that type of regular day to me, I saved a whole kingdom , I was super famous for my inventions, and my smarts, but something happened one particular day
My special day was ruined

"Well sir espresso, it's ya big day, and you are going to be rewarded with lots of treasures and-"
I stopped the cookie from talking anymore
"Yes yes , hurry this up, I need to get back to work after this event"
"But this event was thrown together for you, after you defeated that big monster with your coffee magic and your invention, you saved a WHOLE kingdom by yourself, your a big th-"
"I am gonna be late by your little talk"
"Ah yes so sorry , annnnddd all done!"
As I was hurrying to the event made for me , I ran into someone big and tall
"Oh , my bad"
I heard a voice , a voice I heard somewhere but I didn't remember
"Move, I gotta get somewhere "
"Hey ain't you that hero ? I'm happy to ran into you!"
As he was talking I had to time to chit chat I had to be somewhere, but that voice was so...recognizable

"I must be somewhere now , good bye." I walked past him , as I didn't look back, I knew he would be in the event too
As I got to the event , I was immediately escorted to the back , I had a speech to give and I practiced it , I wanted this day to be over already, I just saved a kingdom and that was it I didn't need this praise, but I couldn't get that handsome cookie out of my head , I needed to see him again, but he also sounded and looked familiar...but we never met before...did we?
As my name was called onto the stage, I went on and gave a speech, near the end of my speech
I got shot by some cookie we didn't see them but luckily i survived it, it's seems like the cookie couldn't aim right and shot my left arm.
as I was quickly escorted off, I fainted from shock, I woke up in the hospital, it was a pure white room, it blinded me
"Augh , it's too bright here.."
"Oh thank goodness, your awake"
As a female voice said
"Ah very good , he's awake now, the kingdom has been worried sick about you sir, we have caught the cookie that tried to kill you, and-"
"How long has it been?" I quickly asked
"Its been a day now , do not worry, we have a knight to protect you for a week just incase there's more of em, you can come in now sir madeleine"
Madeleine? Have I heard that name somewhere, most definitely
"Hello, I believe we met before! As you heard , I'm madeleine cookie, and you are espresso, glad to meet you again"
Woah it's that handsome stranger, even better, he's gonna PROTECT me , I'm so lucky , but I have to focus, I have work at my house that needs to be finished
"Oh and also , you will have to take a break from your work for 4 days"
"WHAT. NO IMPOSSIBLE"
"calm down sir espresso, you need a break for now and your arm isn't gonna heal if you don't let it rest"
After awhile , they let me free, with the knight protecting me
What am I supposed to do now I have to "rest", I could sleep,but, I simply won't But I COULD get to know this knight , as it seems he's not gonna just leave if I tell him to
"what do you like doing, we met a day ago and now it seems I have to protect you for a week"
"I just usually work all day, or I go out for coffee"
"Coffee? I drink coffee too!"
We got along okay, but when I reached my house.
"Okay here's my house you can leave now-"
"Well I can patrol for a bit until the sun goes down, I don't mind"
Wait he's gonna Patrol my house for a bit(neat) I CAN invite him inside to have a drink
Madeleines pov
So I'm protecting a hero now, wait this is weird, I'm a hero protecting another hero(that's weird) but they can't fend for themselves because their arm is hurt
"Hey maybe you can come in for a drink and chill for abit?"
"I must refuse this offer as I'm patrolling your house, thank you for the kind offer."
"No I insist, come in its cold"

"Yes I will have to accept your kind offer"
I walk into his house, wow its...messy
"Don't mind the mess , I didn't get the time to clean up, my apologies"
"Oh don't apologize, I understand, you work everyday , it must be tiring working everyday"
"Now, shall I go make us a drink?"

"Come one espresso, you can't keep doing everything ,I'll help then you will relax "
