Mad Max

Part 9

Max's POV

About half way through the lesson sickness hits me, god I feel so lightheaded, holy shit it's hot in here,

"you okay? you don't look too good" Mike taps my shoulder, 

"I- I just need the bathroom" I grab my bag stumble up to the door,

"Maxine where are you going??" The teacher snaps, I just keep walking. When I push open the bathroom door I collapse onto the cold floor, luckily it's empty, I crawl to the sink and splash some water on my face,

"Keep it together Max" I say to myself, I go to a stall and lock it befogging pulling out a blunt, I go to grab my lighter but it's gone, I must've left it at the lookout,

"SHIT" I slam the wall in frustration,

"Need this?" A brunette girl peeks over my stall,

"Oh shit uh yea thanks" I reach up and grab it,

"My names Gabbi by the way" She smirks, I take a long puff before answering,

"I'm Max" I blow out a large cloud and hand her the blunt,

"Sweet" She climbs over into my stall,

"How come I've never seen you before?" I ask Gabbi as she hands it back,

"I just moved a week or two ago" She smiles,

 "Oh cool" I smile, we stay in the stalls talking till the lunch bell rings,

"well I gotta see my stalker friends" I stand up,

"you better sober up max you look like you've been smoking" She laughs,

"fuck off" I laugh before leaving the stall, I walk out the bathroom and go straight to the cafeteria,

"max!" El runs up to me,

"oh hi" I say and she laughs before dragging me to the lunch table,

"jeez you look great" Dustin laughs, I pull the finger at him,

"where were you this morning?" Lucas asks but before I can reply Robin runs over,

"Max!" She yells,

"heyyy" I say, her stare drills into my eyes,

"holy shit max! at school seriously?" Robin frowns,

"are you not happy she's at school?" El asks,

"oh uh no I just need to talk to max privately" Robin grips my arm,

"errr no i'm gonna stay" I say

"max come" Robin sternly replies ,

"no!" I pull my arm back causing me to fall straight on my ass,

"Shit let me hel-" Robin tries to pull me up,

"JUST FUCK OFF" I yell everyone stares at me, Gabbi runs up behind and drags me out of the cafeteria,

"holy shit! girl got a temper" we laugh,

"wanna ditch for last period, I know a spot" I say,

"yea sure" Gabbi smiles and grabs my hand, we run out of school and enter the forest,

"soo who was the girl you were yelling at?" Gabbi asks,

"Eh just my friend Robin" I reply,

"And the others?"

"well theres Mike, he is the tall lanky guy and there's Dustin the curly head. And theres Lucas the dark basketballer, he is my ex"

"ooo got some romance I see" She chuckles,
