Zainab's POV

The next afternoon after checking my vitals and doing other necessary medical reassurance, the doctors finally discharged me from the hospital. As the nurse helped me change into my own clothes which Shaiq had brought last night since he knew I was going to be free from here today, I came back into the room I was staying in.

Getting up on my feet after so many days even though my whole weight was laid on the nurse, made me cripple a bit. Not to mention how my head throbbed that even Shaiq rushed to support me. The wound in my abdomen was still fresh and I could feel a faint pain in it; that's the reason I still couldn't walk properly. I needed someone to hold me.

The doctors said I would be walking normally again after yet another complete bed rest of a minimum of a week or maximum a week. And that's the thing I hated the most; being idle and doing nothing.

Nevertheless, when I entered the room, I find Shaiq packing my medicines. Seeing me, he stopped what he was doing and came towards me. He touched my shoulders delicately.

"Are you okay, Zainab?" He softly asked. I nodded with a smile.

"Sit here. You shouldn't stand up for too long," he squeezed my arms and made me sit on the bed.

"You have to take of her a lot now as she will be out of the doctor's supervision. Don't let her do heavy tasks. It would put a strain on her stitches," the nurse advised Shaiq. He was listening to her keenly. Asking about what was best for me in food and what I shouldn't eat etc etc. But my ears were just hearing his raspy voice and my eyes were fixed on his handsome face. His expressions were serious and his lips were turned into a thin line as he kept on discussing different precautions for me with the nurse and even sometimes glance at me as well. I just smiled looking at this.

Shaiq was caring for me. He was getting anxious for me. His eyes were showing his love for me. Life couldn't have been more beautiful than this

With the help of the wheelchair, they managed to get me to the hospital's parking where Shaiq's car was spotted. The rest Shaiq did as he carefully helped me sit inside it.

I was so excited to go home after so many days and so many pains. It would be different than before these horrible five days. In a way, this accident changed my life. Before it, I never found happiness in that house in those few years but now I was dying to be there. I got Shaiq back and now I wanted to cherish those moments that nature bestowed me. I wanted to make Shaiq the happiest person in this universe, I wanted to give him my all love, care, and attention. I just would give him whatever he would ask for. I would be just happy in his happiness.

"Do you feel better Zainab?" Shaiq question, breaking my train of thoughts. I complained to him earlier in the hospital about how suffocated I was feeling due to all those smells of medicines.

I turned my face towards him. "I do. "

"That's great," he grinned cheerfully. "Do you know I have a surprise for you?"

I narrowed my eyes. "What surp--" I trailed off when I remembered he was going to give me a surprise as well when we left for the farmhouse.

"Before that, tell me what was that surprise which you were going to show me that day," I voiced my thoughts.

Shaiq tightened his jaw for a moment before easing it. "Just think that I am going to give that day's surprise to you today. "

"Oh--I ruined your plan that day. Didn't I?" I pouted.

"Don't say like this," Shaiq quickly reprimanded me before softening his words by placing his warm hand above mine. "It wasn't your mistake. In fact, it was mine, I couldn't protect you that day. I am sorry."
