CHAPTER 21

"Wait now I know how I recognize you. You're the guy I saw at the mall the other day!" Myley mentions, pointing towards Matt.

"I am?" he asks, "Yeah!" she answers.

"Wait wait wait. You're Matt Sturniolo right?" I ask him, "Yeah, why?" he answers.

"Cause I think you were in my requested Dm's." I state, pulling out my phone. "I was? Wait what's you name again?" he asks, "Annika. Annika Cameron." I answer.

"Ohhh yeah. I remember you." he remembers, I show him the phone where his dm request was. 

"Dude you slid into her dm's?" Chris laughs, "Shut up. I told you she was real." Matt replies.

"Yeah of course I'm real." I laugh, "Why wouldn't I be?".

"Nothing, nothing." Matt waves a hand dismissively. 

We had talked with each other another hour before exchanging Instagram's then going on our own ways.

"Hey wait Annika." Matt says. I turn around as the girls keep walking.

"Can I get your number. I wanna get to know you more." 

And that was how I found myself the next morning, meeting up with Matt Sturniolo at the front of my doorstep.

"Bye!" I call to Jamie and my mom.

"Hey Matt." I greet, wrapping my arms around his neck as he wraps his won around my body in a hug.

"Hey Annika. How'd you sleep?" he asks as we both make our way down to his van.

"Eh. I mean I got like a good, 20 minutes of sleep." I laugh, "Same." he laughs as well.

"So what are we doing?" I ask, "Well. Chris and Nick are out doing something with our friend Kyle. So we can go back to mine and just... hang." he offers, ending with a shrug.

"Sure, I'm fine with that." I agree.

"You know, on second thought." he pauses with a thought. "I have better plans."

His hands found the steering wheel as his foot pressed against the gas pedal, driving us both to an unknown place.

"Where do you plan on taking me, Mr. Sturniolo." I ask, glancing over at him, my eyes scanning over his thin pressed lips. "Well is there a certain place you like to go to?" he ask, "I thought you had better plans!" I exclaim, "I do but like if there's something you're interested in, we'll do that." he shrugs.

"I'm fine with whatever." I shrug, "Okay well um... the place is a bit far from here so- it's like 25 minutes- but yeah." he informs me. "sounds good." I reply.

"Hey does this work?" I ask, fiddling with the aux cord, "Yep. You can play music if you want." he offers, "Do you have anything against Taylor Swift?" I ask, plugging the cord into my phone.

"Nope, not really." he answers. "Steve Lacey?" I ask, "His songs slap." he answered once again.

"Then I can see we won't have much problems being friends." I smile.

KIERA SPEAKS: this is short i know, it's like 600 words short also if u havent seen my recent announcement:

I'm gonna take a quick second to be real. I've found myself lacking on any sturniolo updates- which I am deeply sorry for. I have found myself struggling with school, as well as finding it hard to work with my anxiety. I also have realized that it is harder for me to watch a video of the triplets, or even simply just read a book about them. I dont feel as if I am leaving the fandom but then again I do. but then I think to myself at how successful I've gotten recently. I'm almost at 2k followers and that's thanks to my sturniolo books. not once did I ever think I would get this far, but I believe I am beginning to exit my sturniolo "phase" if you'd like to call it that. I wont be deleting this account because, well, last time I thought I had to do that I cried, but i wont be as active on here i did believe. i am so sorry. now with hostile and love story, I'm not sure if I'll just discontinue them or quickly finish them but I've found it hard to open the book and begin to write. i find myself struggling with coming up w writing for the book which i hate to say butit's true. I've also been trying to get back with my old friends which is hard enough so there has been a reason why there hasnt been updates. I'm not sure when the next update will be but I thought you guys would like to know what's been up recently. also some of the people in the sturniolo fandom are VERY toxic and weird and I'm not putting up with it. so I'm not sure if I'm so called leaving the fandom but I will not be as active on this account much. other than that, lifes been good, I think. but yeah, I'm so sorry but it's what I feel is best. this is kie signing out :(
