Its been two days since we had smoked on the terrace and I kind of missed it. Well, it's not something to be actually "missed" but I did, considering I did it for the first time and I wanted the dizzy, comforting feeling back. Before I could think it through I was walking over to Louis's room. When I knocked on the door Liam opened it and peeked his head out.
"Louis isn't here." He said as soon as he saw me.
"Umm...any idea where I can find him?" I asked scratching my head.
"Don't know." Liam said and almost closed the door on my face, but I stopped him.
"Liam, umm can I talk to you for a sec?"
Liam sighed opening the door wide for me to enter.
He closed the door behind me as I walked and stood in front of me, folding his hands across his chest, raising his eyebrows, "What is it?"
"Erm, w-why do you hate me?" I stuttered asking, trying not to look up at him.
"I don't hate you?" Liam said in a questioning tone raising one of his eyebrows.
"You do. You were just closing the door on my face." I put it out bluntly.
"I've got school work to do. Its senior year."
"No. That's not it. You don't even talk to me...nicely. What did I do?"
Liam sighed walking over to his bed. He sat down signalling me towards Louis' bed. "Sit."
Liam sat down on the edge of his bed and sighed deeply.
"What is it?" I asked confused.
"You guys should stop talking to those stray guys out there, you know"
"Who?" I asked confused.
"The ones who gave Louis that grass." he scrunched his nose at the word.
"Oh."
"They are not good. I've heard things about them."
"I don't know them."
"You don't?" Liam asked, now he was the confused one.
"No. When Louis and I smoked the other day he just told me he got it from those guys. But why are they bad? What did you hear about them?"
"They err..carry guns with them."
My eyes widened at his words.
"And they have shot a few people and robbed them and those usual...stuff."
"Oh." I replied. I didn't have anything to say here exactly.
"So why do you hate me?" I asked when the silence in the room became uncomfortable.
"I used to think you were the ones who were friends with them."
"Why did you think that? I never even talked to them or even as much as seen them or known their names?"
"Louis told me you knew some of them and they were your friends."
"What?" I asked confused. All these informations were too much to take in.
Liam just shrugged looking at me as I stood up.
"I think I'm just gonna leave now." I said walking toward the door.
I heard Liam mumble a "okay". When I was about to close the door behind me, after walking out, Liam held it not allowing the door to shut with a thud. "Zayn?"
I looked back.
"You should talk to him about it. And warn him. He doesn't seem to believe me. But you guys have a sort of connection that I never understood. He loves you lot. He cares for you. You've got a nice friend out there. Stop him from which ever wrong way they are leading him towards."
