Denver becomes an mercenary due to she accidentally helped an mercenary(A man) finish it's job quickly as he is to sent spy on someone, with The Mercenary asking her about what the person he is spying on doing as she was a delivery woman at that time, where she noticed that the person that the mercenary was spying is doing something suspicious
Eventually the two teamed up and from their they both discovered that the person the Mercenary was spying on was doing something illegal that can harm the town, and eventually the Mercenary group that he was working tasked the him to kill the person, to which he did and then decided to hire Denver as a mercenary and to make her his student, to which she accepts without hesitation
And from there, Denver was trained to use different types of guns and martial arts and from there she became a full time mercenary where she saw many horrible things on her job as she was tasked on killing her targets but mostly her job was to collect and retrieve some packages, which she was extremely good at
But in 2017 During her latest mission with her old man as he is now old but she can't due to her immortality even her ship was scrapped, the mission they both take almost went sideways but the mission was completely handled but at the cost of her Old man dying in the process, traumatizing her
The Mercenary Group that she was working with and the old man saw her condition and was placed on therapy, which took 3 years until she became fine and stable, ready to do her job again
Until the Sirens came causing her to stay inactive for 2 years as her ship was rebuild and her service to serve the navy is needed
As she enters her room she picks up a empty backpack and from there she places the things she needed as she buys a ticket to Japan where her contractor that works for the Mercenary group she's working is there
and as she packs the things she needed she picks up something on her drawer revealing a bucket hat, that once belongs to her old man
