Living a normal life was now impossible to Lily after being kidnapped by the tatters. She was stolen off of the boat that was supposed to take her to England to study from the White Sea after visiting her family that lived in Egypt because of her fa...
"How are your studies?" I asked Beyazid, Selim, and Murad. The three boys gave me their undivided attention. It was no secret that the three boys loved to compete with each other but sadly Beyazid and Selim took it too seriously and fought a lot although they were really full-blood brothers.
"Very good mother, all three of us have the highest grades among the boys" Murad answered. I smiled and pushed some of his hair back. My gaze moved to Ayse sitting to the side with Nuriye braiding her hair, this was the perfect opportunity to talk with her.
"Go on then, it's time for bed" I nodded at the children sitting around me. The boys stood up and bowed to me before leaving. Ayse and the girls stood up and bowed to me ready to leave.

"Ayse, you stay" I ordered. Ayse nodded and moved to sit beside me as her sister left the room along with the maids.
"What is the matter, mother?" Ayse asked slightly worried. I smiled and took her hands in between my own.
"My beautiful girl, I still sometimes think I am in a dream, I never imagine having such a beautiful girl who is mature and smart" I placed a hand on her cheeks as she blushed. She looked down shyly. I am not heartless and I will never throw my daughter in the lap of Ayas, but I need to make him think he won until I have my sisters in my clutches.
"Why are you saying such things, mother?" Ayse asked smiling up at me. I pulled her closer and kissed her red cheek.
"Someone has sent me a request for my beautiful girl" I answered. Her eyes widened in shock but the smile on her face did not leave her face.
"Who, mother?" Ayse asked curiously. I could see in her eyes that she was happy, did she have someone in her heart already? Or was she simply happy to happy to get married?
"Ayas Pasha" I answered. I watched her reaction and much to my shock she did not look disappointed. She instead looked down at our intertwined hands sitting on her lap.
"Is there something going on between you two?" I questioned feeling dread fill me up. What if he tricked her into falling for him or something along those lines?
"No mother" Ayse answered shaking her head. I sighed in relief and nodded my head. This way I will be able to continue with my plan.
"Do not for a second get attached to this man, Ayse, do you understand?" I ordered. A quizzed look took over her face. She gulped worriedly and her eyes widened even more, she looked like she was caught doing something she was not supposed to.
"Why mother?" She asked shuffling even closer to me. I smiled a little to not worry her. I pulled her hand up and placed a small kiss on her knuckles, my dear girl was still too young to be pulled into this game but this was an emergency.
"Ayas is blackmailing me to marry you, he has your aunts and will not return them to me unless he marries you" I answered. Ayas gasped shocked and placed a hand on her chest.
