Mushrooms are a fungus, but then-after the nuclear explosion in 2028- flowers started to sprout from the fungi. "Mushroom Flowers" became the name after not long.

The RPS (Radioactive Protection System) took some of them for testing, and like everything else, they weren't safe. Nothing is safe. The air, the water, the plants, nothing.

After the explosion, domes were built. These domes were called "air pockets". This was where the safe things were. You could breathe without a mask, you could drink the water without your head exploding, you could eat the animals and plants harvested in farms without turning purple.

But the only catch was that the air pockets were small, and expensive. You could walk the whole length of it in 2 days, for the price of 5287,000,006$ a month. The government stays greedy no matter what I guess.

My name is Felix Lipso, and I am way too broke to live in an air pocket. I live with my reptile infused dog, Dragon. His name was Mike but now he looks like a dragon. Iniso and Kwein also live with me. Kwein's name is pronounced "Queen", it took me a while to learn that. Iniso is Kwein's step-sibling, they're very nice, but in an insulting way. Like, they're compliments sound like:

"Oh, you look less shitty today." or "You look like a grandma, but not like the ones who eat prunes and cream of mushroom."

I remember when things were normal, back when i used to wake up early for school, when i used to mess around with my brother doing stupid stuff. He's dead now. Well, not dead, just missing.

I haven't seen him since we heard the sirens and he yelled at me to run away and hide, the explosion went off and I never saw him again. Iniso says we should go looking for him, but Kwein says that there's a 99.99% chance that he's dead. But she never told me that to my face, she's just said that to Iniso.
