As i turn the key in the ignition, the crisp air of the winter morning fills with smoke, the engine is cold, but her skin is warm, soaked in the orange rays of sunshine, how happy she is. Just like the sky's, my judgment was clouded and vision was hazed... knowing that i was unable to see the challenges ahead... she became my eyes. And the way she viewed things was different to mine, my perspective of world was always black and white, with a few gray areas in between, never anything special. But the colours, the shades and the different shapes she saw, were beautiful and never straight forward.
Indescribable being the claim we hopped in the car and she drove... leading me into the unknown. My mind wondered, flooded with possibilities. But we could finally get acquainted so my worries weren't met with disappointment. Full of Joy, her innocent eyes gaze upon the road, the sunset and the Journey. As if filled with excitement, but ajar, as it seeps through in unruly smiles and laughter. The journey ahead, How long will i wait.
