The use of the song Clair De Lune is to represent freedom.

When I listen to it, it kind of feels airy, like you're flying. Usually, if someone is flying, they are very liberated.

It also makes you more relaxed, and since this is all over for Emma and George, they are free and they don't have to worry about Clay anymore.

I also go back to Clay's quote about "Nobodies work at Walmart" and that no one will remember him. Basically, since Clay is the head operator of this whole thing, people are going to recognize him more than the victims.

This is a very common trend with serial killers and you should actually try it yourself without looking up anything about the person.

Some of the most famous serial killers are:
John Wayne Gacy
Ted Bundy
Jeffrey Dahmer
Richard Ramirez
Jack the Ripper
The Zodiac Killer
David Berkowitz
Dennis Rader
Aileen Wuornos

Can you name any of the people they killed?

Most likely not. That's my point when I close on the line if "We were nobodies."

Of course, they aren't nobodies, but the fact that no one really knows their names, just proves that they were really never going to get justice. Everyone will always be talking about the killer's story rather than the victims.
