Sigh. I guess it's not time to talk, I mean you already said it! Ugh, just get it over with it seems like something you need to stop pushing away. It could be VERY important. Now come on talk to him it's alright if you don't just do it. "Hello?" Martyn called out. I shook my head. "Yeah?" I muttered.

"You were just standing there so I didn't know if you were thinking or something..." Martyn mumbled. "No, I'm alright. Now how about we sit down and talk? Alright?" I ask. Martyn nodded. I walked over to a chair and sat down. Martyn looked up then walked over to me. I patted the seat next to me. They sat down and looked at the ground.

"Well, things have been pretty rough for me lately." Martyn started. "After the big shot, all my friends and family have either died off or turned to evil. I mean if you can believe I come from a very powerful family and I couldn't do anything I'm not even human! That made me realize something, and that something told me to leave home and come here," Martyn explained. "I mean if you weren't human then I guess that would explain why you are black and white but wait...why come here though?" I asked.

"Why do you think? This place is far away from the world and I don't think anyone would come looking for me here" Martyn said. "Another question, why don't you turn evil? I mean you did shoot me in the leg with an arrow and I think you would be very powerful!" I said. Martyn sighed as if he had given this a lot of thought.

"Last I checked a good person isn't evil. That's what I want to be! I wanna be a good person but everyone wants me to be evil!" Martyn states. "Well they can't have it both ways, can they? Where's the justice in that for you?" I asked. "Yeah, your right...but maybe I would be a good person if I had someone like you to teach me." Martyn would say.

"Don't you think you could be some type of teacher for me? A teacher to teach me how to be good?" Martyn questioned. "Oh yeah, I could! I would love to! I just don't know if I'm a good person or not. I mean I have always done good things but everyone has their own bad and good decisions in their life that they regret doing." I said.

Martyn was skeptical, as he said, "Does that mean you're not going to teach me?" I gasped. "No, I am going to teach you, and besides I already have a lot of good ideas for you!" I responded. "If that's the case then would it be alright if I stayed with you for a longer time? I would appreciate it!" Martyn offered.

"I would love to have you stay here! I'll have to expand the house a little more and set up some more stuff for you. I don't mind though!" I said. "Thanks, Layla! I do appreciate it!" Martyn added. The rest of the day went calmly, I looked for resources and Martyn stayed in the house most of the time doing something.

We had some very simple conversations throughout the night. The next day I woke up and saw Martyn sleeping. The sight of Martyn sleeping so carefully made me smile. I looked away towards the window. "How am I supposed to teach someone like that? How will it end?" I questioned myself.

But I still had to move on. I realized that the only way I was gonna teach Martyn how to be good was to start training him on how people work or react. I knew that he was very intelligent and would pick up a lot of good habits and traits from me, so I decided to start training Martyn today. I got up and went to Martyn.

"Hey, Martyn!" I said. "Good morning Layla" Martyn replied sleepily. We both got up and ate some breakfast. "Are you ready for today's training?" I asked. "What?" Martyn asked. "You said that you wanted to become a better person so I want you to learn how to read feelings and emotions from humans. Do you think you can do that?" I asked.

"Uh, I guess I can try?" Martyn replied. I walked over and sat on the couch with him. "I want you to read what people are feeling," I said. Martyn's head nodded. "Ok. Let's start." I started showing him some pictures of people and asking him what people were feeling and what their emotions were.

I pulled out a picture of someone who hit their head. "Martyn, do you see what this person is feeling?" I asked. "Uh, yeah, I can see that person is feeling pain, I can see it in their frown," Martyn said. "Good job! That's right!" I said. Martyn smiled. I pulled out another picture and said "This is a picture of someone who lost a family member." I said. Martyn looked up at me.

"What is this one feeling?" I asked. "That one is sad. I see it in their eyes." Martyn replied. "That's good! You are doing great Martyn!" I said. I pulled out a picture of someone who is smiling happily. "What do you see when you look at this person?" I asked. "That one obviously is happy," Martyn said. "Well, that's great!" I said.

"What are you feeling?" I asked. "I'm not sure, I guess I feel nothing," Martyn replied. "That's ok! We can learn how to show emotions too!" I said. I pulled out a picture of someone who was smiling a lot. "Do you see this person's smile?" I asked. "Yeah! That is a happy person." Martyn replied.

"Ok, then let's practice!" I said. I asked Martyn to smile. He didn't get it at first but got it down the second time. "That's wonderful Martyn, you got it!" I said. A few more minutes passed with me showing more pictures of people. Martyn got a few wrongs at the start but got the rest right. "You know Martyn, I see you had a tough time learning this first time but you tried your best and I am very proud of you," I said.

"Thank you, Layla!" Martyn said. "You are welcome! You know what, we will go over it again tomorrow and then we could start working on good traits, and then we could work on good actions!" I said. For the rest of today, we just relaxed and walked around outside for a bit.

The next day, Martyn and I ate and then continued to learn how to show emotions. He didn't get it at first but he got it faster and better with each picture. I couldn't believe how well he was learning! By the end of the day, he got all the pictures right and they were all in the correct order.

"Martyn this is great!" I said. "What are you feeling now after all this time?" I asked. "I'm just happy to be learning this new skill!" Martyn said. "You are a wonderful person and we will work harder to show your positive traits! We will start again tomorrow because I'm starting to get a little tired." I said. "Oh alright well we will start tomorrow then!" Martyn said.
