My vision would change to massive fires. "Oh jeez!" I would jump back bumping into something. I turned around to see Martyn looking down at something. I looked down to see three dead bodies. "Oh god..." I would cover my mouth. The first one looked like his sister, the second looked like his mother, and the third looked like his father.

"Martyn, I'm so sorry...they didn't deserve this..." I would place my hand on his shoulder and turn him to me. He looked tired and his eyes were blood-red. "Martyn? Buddy are you there?" I would shake him softly. Suddenly I sat up on the couch. I was back home, not in some pitch-black void.

"Ugh...my head hurts" I mumbled. I looked over to the seat Martyn was sitting at but he was not there anymore. I stood up and looked around the house. Nothing seemed out of place. I ran upstairs and looked in the kitchen but Martyn was nowhere to be found.

I walked down the hallway and turned into the bathroom. I looked in the mirror fixing my hair for a quick second. I walked back down the hall and looked towards the open door. "How am I so blind? He went outside duh!" I scolded myself as I walked over to the door. I looked outside, it was pouring dogs and cats. In context, it was heavily raining.

I groaned and pulled out an umbrella and put on my rain boots. I opened the door and walked outside. I stared at the gloomy sky and how thick the rain was. "Martyn! Martyn where are you!" I shouted starting to get worried. "Martyn!" I looked around. "Where are you?!" I ran deeper into the rain.

I looked up towards the clouds. "Crap..." I let out a sigh. I looked up again. "We're going to get flooded..." I kept running. I looked back in the rain. "Martyn, please come back!" I stopped running when I heard something coming up behind me. "A-Ahhh!" I let out a sharp scream. I turned around and saw something towering above me.

It was pitch black with red eyes. "M-Martyn?" I questioned. The being would not move. "Martyn, is that you?" I asked. Again the being did not respond. "Martyn!" I pleaded. "Please at least talk to me!" I was shouting at it. It continued to just look at me. "Oh no, please tell me you didn't turn evil or anything!" I screamed."No." I would hear a voice talk out.

"W-What?" I froze. "No." The being would repeat. The rain started to slow down. "W-Wheres Martyn-" I started to talk before the being reached out to me. I covered my face, dropping my umbrella in the process. I suddenly felt a warm body on me and the rain stopping. I slowly opened my eyes seeing the being hugging me. "Why are you hugging me-?" I slowly spoke. I kept looking.

It was Martyn! His eyes were light pink and he is normal now! He was also hugging me! Wait...Martyn is also hugging me!? I started to blush. Thoughts rushed into my mind. I felt a drop of water fall on my cheek which made me stop. Is it raining again? I looked over to see Martyn crying. "Hey, hey! Stop crying. It's alright I'm here..." I would hug him back comforting him.

"I-I'm sorry...I d-didn't mean to do t-this. T-They are dead because of me and I'm s-sorry I had to drag you i-into it..." Martyn would stutter. I thought back to what happened in the dreams. "They did not! Think about it Martyn, they bullied you and hated you. They didn't deserve you...now that they are gone, you can live freely without them!" I spoke.

Martyn would brake the hug and rub away his tears. "I-I guess y-you are right..." He would mumble frowning. "Come on let's go back into the house and talk about it..." I would grab his hand and start to walk. Martyn would follow walking right next to me. We finally arrived at the house and walked inside. I took off my rain boots and put away the umbrella.

I quickly made my way over to Martny helping him take off his coat and sit down. "I'll get us some hot cocoa, would that be alright?" I would ask looking over to Martyn. He smiled and nodded. "Alright!" I made my way to the kitchen and started making the hot cocoa. About one minute later they were finished and I brought them over.

"How are you feeling?" I asked Martyn. "S-So c-cold...thank y-you" He muttered taking a sip of his hot cocoa. I could tell he had a slight cold. "Can I get you a blanket?" I asked. He nodded. "Well, you'll be nice and warm then." I gave him a large pink fuzzy blanket. He smiles in response and looked down at his hot cocoa.

"Wow this is perfect...I...I didn't know you cared about me this much." He would say as he looked up at me. "Hehe, yeah." I would awkwardly smile. He seems to be a little slow on the uptake...I thought. "Do you like that I care about you?" I would ask back. "Y-yeah I do. It's new but I do." Martyn would slightly blush as he took a sip of his hot cocoa.

"That's wonderful to hear!" I would say smiling taking a sip of my hot cocoa. "Do you...like me Layla?" Martyn would ask me, then take another sip of his hot cocoa. I would sip out my hot cocoa and start to blush a lot. Martyn would jump a bit and started to blush. "Layla! Are you okay?" He would franticly ask.

"Y-Yeah! I'm okay! C-Could you explain what you mean b-by 'like me'?" I would ask getting up and getting a paper towel. "Well, I mean you invited me to your house without not knowing me that well and you know, I have been here for a while" Martyn would explain. I would wipe my face and cough. "Sorry. I do you like having you around Martyn!" I would smile.

Martyn would blush and look down. "Don't be sorry! I-I was having the idea of me going back home..." Martyn would mumble the last part."What was that last part?" I would ask getting closer. Martyn would frown and clear his throat. "I was thinking about leaving to go home!" He would quickly shout. "Y-You want to leave?" I would ask putting down the towel and frowning. Martyn would nod. My heart sank.

"That's fine! It's up to you if you want to do something like that but thanks for telling me I guess" I would smile sadly and walk over to him. I would wrap my arms around him and hug him. Martyn would hug me back. "It's just that I seem to have been causing too much chaos where ever I go and I don't want you to get hurt or too attached..." Martyn would say smiling.

That's a little too late. I would hold back tears. "No, no! It's fine Martyn if you think it's best then you can go." I would say smiling sadly, once again. "That is very sweet of you Layla! You are a true friend!" Martyn would smile and walk off to the door. My heart would break into millions of pieces. Great, friend-zoned.

Oh, shut up! Do you love this guy that much!? I would look to Martyn waving goodbye to me."I wish you well Layla! I bet our roads will never cross again but thank you for everything and bye!" Martyn would say before closing the door. My tears ran free down my cheeks. I would whip them away and clean up the area.

"It's alright Layla, things will be better. You are the problem you got too attached too quickly." I would mutter to myself as I sat down on the couch. I didn't realize it but my legs were super tired. "It's for the best, Layla" I kept mumbling. "It's for the best." I finished saying before I laid down on the couch curled up in a big blanket.
