Chapter 2

"Oh my god Brooke!! I'm so happy for you tell me all about it" Haley said to Brooke on the phone.

"Well he cooked me dinner, private. No waiters or customers just me and him and it was amazing. He made me a five minute movie and don't you forget about me was playing through out the whole thing and in the end the question comes up. And i turn to look at him and he's standing on one knee and the rest was just a dream." Brooke told her.

"Aw Brooke, no words can describe how happy i am to see you and peyton tomorrow! Love you"

"Me too Brooke, and say hi to Peyton for me" Nathan shouted from the pool in Nathan and Haley's house.

"Sure Nate, and you say hi to Jamie."

....

"So, how are you feeling P. Sawyer, are you happy to be back in Tree hill?"

"Well, yeah i am but i just don't want to run into you know who"

"Yeah i get Peyton but you have to stop running you guys had an amazing friendship before you know what and besides you have Nick now"

Peyton nodded in agreement "Come on lets go to haley's i want everyone to meet Julian and Nick"

Haley opened the door and hugged Peyton and Brooke at the same time, within a few seconds, the trio were all in tears.

"Sawyer come here, i've missed you"

Peyton moved and ran to Nathan and embraced him with a tight hug "You've grown even taller, now put me down Scott" Peyton said laughing.

"Alright, your turn Davis"

Brooke smirked as Nathan lifted her up in the air.

After they told each other hello, Peyton and Brooke introduced Nick and Julian.

"This is nick, my boyfriend and Julian, Brooke's fiancee"

"Hey guys" Nathan said as they shook each other's hands.

"You better come or the dinner will be cold" Haley yelled.

"AUNT BROOKE AUNT PEYTON" Jamie yelled as he ran up to them.

"BABY JAMES" they shouted in sync.

"Wow, Haley this pasta is amazing" Peyton said.

"Yeah and the garlic rolls are delicious" Nick agreed.

"Those are uncle Lucas's favourite too" Jamie said.

"Speaking of, where is broody?" Brooke said.

"He's out of town, with Lindsay they have like this important meeting, they'll be back for the wedding" Haley replied.

Peyton's face changed and she cringed thinking about Lindsay.

Nathan took Julian, Nick and Jamie to the river court for some bonding and to give the girls time for some catching up.

"I've missed you guys" Haley said.

"Trust me foxy, we missed you way more" Peyton replied

"Ya, I sometimes wish you were with us but then I remember how happy you are with Nathan and Jamie" Brooke joined in.

"But now that you guys are here, I'm hoping to see you more often, where are you going to stay anyways?"

"Well Julian bought my old house back and Peyton and Nick have an apartment right across my house".

"That's really cool, so you and Nick are serious huh?

Peyton blushed "Ya, it's pretty good"

"That's all?"

"Don't get me wrong, he's a great guy. It's just that i don't know, i feel like sometimes we're just having fun. Its not serious like we go days without having a meaningful conversation".

"You look beautiful Peyton" Nick told Peyton as she was getting ready for Brooke's bachelorette party.

"You don't look too bad yourself"

"Come on we're going to be late".

The trio made it to tric where the guys were. Brooke turned "what are they doing here" she said excitingly.

"We knew how you guys desperately wanted to see each other so we mashed up the two parties"

"P SAWYER YOU ARE THE BEST MADE OF HONOR AND HALEY JAMES YOU ARE THE BEST FRIEND EVER, I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH" They went in for a group hug and made their way to the guys.

After many shots, Peyton was starting to get drunk. "And the stars are crying for what we could have had"

"What are you mumbling about P. Sawyer"

"I like that line, it reminds me of Luke"

"You mean Nick?" Haley asked.

"Ya ya Nick"

"You sure not broody?" Brooke said.

"No no it's Nick".

"Whatever you say blondie" Haley said.

Peyton excused herself from the table and went to the bathroom.

After a lovely night they all went their separate ways. Haley and Nathan went back home. Julian and Nick went back to Nick's apartment and Brooke and Peyton went back to Julians house as they wanted to follow tradition and not see each other till the wedding.

"I can't believe you're getting married B. Davis"

"I know P. Sawyer, I'm gonna miss you"

"Why? I'm here for you forever, you're stuck with me"

Brooke wiped away her tears and hugged Peyton.

"I love you Peyton and I'm so glad we're back in Tree Hill and I know tomorrow will be a bit hard for you but you should know that i'm always here for you no matter what"

"I know we've been through a lot, I love you too, now get your ass to sleep because the bride needs to look beautiful tomorrow"

They both smiled at the thought of Brooke getting married tomorrow and were wearing matching PJs.

"Remember when your dad told me i should change my DILF, i was so embarrassed"

"Oh god, how can I forget, it was right after the shooting and Ellie's death. I do miss her a lot"

"I know you do, i tell you what, we can wake up early and go visit her tomorrow"

"I'd like that" Peyton replied, holding back the tears.
