Leah: hi Y/n
Leah: I miss you so much
Leah: I don't want to have this break anymore, I want you
Leah: I can't stop thinking about you, please call me back

I got off Lucy and sat back down

"Let me guess- Leah?" Lucy said

I ignored her

"I don't know why you're doing this. You love Leah and-"

"And I can't be with her- that's the problem. I miss her so much but I'm here and she's there and we're both so fucking busy. I'm trying to get my mind off her but I can't. Fuck I'm so stupid. I should've never left Arsenal"

"You only want to stay at Arsenal for Leah? That's not good, think about your career"

"I know but she's making me happy. Being away from her is making me sad

"Then go back" Lucy said

I looked at her

"I have to wait"

"Season is almost ending- if we win the champions league you can go back to arsenal and help them"

I smiled

And that's what I did. It's a couple months later. We just won the champions league with Barcelona.

My family, my friends, my old teammates everyone was here to support me

"We're so proud of you" My dad said

"Dreams do come-" I stopped talking

My eyes landed on Leah. We didn't broke up but it doesn't feel like we're together because she's in England and I'm in Spain and we don't talk much . We're still having this stupid break and I don't know what's next

She was wearing a Barcelona jersey with my last name on it

I embraced her in a hug

"Why didn't you told me you would be here?"

"Surprise" She said

"How are you?"

"I'm good, I'm so proud of you. How are you?"

"I'm good, I'm also proud of you. You had an amazing season but I do think some fans are going to kill you now wearing that shirt"

"I'm just here to support my girlfriend"

Girlfriend?

Am I still her girlfriend?

Of course I am but it doesn't feel like that anymore

Am I losing feelings?

"I think they're calling you" Leah said

"Uhm yes. We'll talk later okay?" I said

She nodded

I hugged her and ran back to my team

/POV LEAH\

It's been months later

The doorbell rang

I opened the door, my eyes landed on Y/n

"I'm back" She said

"What?"

"I miss my family, I miss the club, I miss you. I'm back" She said

"What do you mean? Are you back at Arsenal?"

She nodded

"Are you serious?"

"Yes"

I embraced her in a hug

"I missed you so much"

"No more stupid breaks. We're together and I'm not letting you go anymore" Y/n said

"I love you" I said

"I love you too"

It's been a couple years later

World Cup final

England - The Netherlands

1 - 1

Minute 88

Corner

Y/n put her hand up to show us that she was ready to take the corner

I looked at the ball and jumped up

I hit the ball with my head and fell down because the defender pushed me

Everyone was cheering and screaming

I looked up

I scored

I got up and ran over to Y/n

I jumped up and wrapped my legs around her waist

"You did it" She said

"I couldn't do it without you"

Everyone hugged each other

"We still have a couple more minutes. Focus everyone" I said

The game ended a couple minutes later

I broke down crying

"We won, we did it" I said

Y/n embraced me in a hug

"I'm so proud of you" She said

"I'm proud of you, I'm proud of the team, I'm proud of everyone"

Y/n kissed my cheek

I sat down on the ground and broke down crying again

Y/n sat down next to me

"This is- I- I don't believe it. Look- look at us" She said

"It's crazy"

"It's is. I wouldn't be here without you" She said

"Don't say that. You did this by yourself"

She removed her shinguards

"Shut up, are you still wearing my shinguards"

"Yes they're really special to me"

"That's so cute"

She smiled at me

"We did it Y/n"

"We fucking did it Leah" She said

"I love you"

"I love you too"
