Caitlyn Confessing To You

•You and Caitlyn met through one of the council's 'parties'

•You hated them personally, but you always volunteered to help decorate and run the events as the council always liked you to do it.

•She was on a shift, and just observing all of the cargo and decor for the party get loaded off when she saw you come out of the hall of the academy, where the party was being held.

•You didn't notice her at first as you were very busy making sure everything was there and nothing was damaged but when you stepped back you saw her.

•"Oh hey Caitlyn!" You walked over to her smiling. "O-oh, hello Y/N, how are you?"

•Caitlyn was awestruck, she just kind of stared at you while you talked, explaining how hard it can be to organise the events but you had to and how there were two boxes of somethings not here yet...

•"Cait are you alright?"
She snapped out of her daze to you calling her name. "Huh? Oh-oh yes I'm sorry-"

•She was a blushing mess, you giggled at her and made a joke about how she might have a crush on you- then you bid your goodbye and began carrying some things inside.

•The longer she thought about how she reacted she realised she did have a crush on you.
•'Oh no, mother would never allow it, but it's what I want, but how would father react, how would I tell her, how do I confront her, do I ask her out, what if she says no, goddamnit-'

•She spent the next few hours of her shift arguing with herself and figuring out how she can ask you out.

•She decided she would do it the night of the party, it was in three days, she has enough time right?

•Wrong, fastest three days of her life. She attended with her mother of course and you were there talking with some guests and she assumed your friends as well, how could she get away from her mother and get you alone?

•"Mother, I'm just going to the bathroom, I'll be right back" as she was walking off she tapped your shoulder and kept walking.

•You caught on and excused yourself quickly to follow her.

•She led you two into a secluded room.
"Hey Cait what's wrong?"
"Um Y/N-" She stopped, thinking of the right words "You know what you said 3 days ago, the joke you made about me having a crush on you?" "Yes?" "Uh- well you're right, I do have a crush on you, actually have for a while now" She scratched the back of her neck in nervousness.

•You took in the information and were quite surprised "Really? W-why?" Was all you could muster to her.

•"Well whenever I see you you make me happy, I know this all sounds really clichè and probably bad, but I do genuinely love you, so will you go on a date with me?" She asked with a cheeky smile.

•You laughed and held her hands in yours. "Of course I will Caitlyn" and with that you leaned forward and pulled her in for a kiss.

•She was pretty thrilled after that. So much so that when she got home...she screamed into her pillow. She didn't even care what her mother thought, she was just happy she finally got to you.
